I've done 3 mystery shops today, netting me £32 in total!

Sorry Leon ( the connection was weddings/girls) Think we should start a new thread and ask whether you're female or male. Might get some funny responses right enough, you never know nowadays! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Becs well done! A nice wee earner for you :T :T :T
Well I worked this a.m. and I'm in tomorrow too. Weekends are great to work because the pay is so much better than midweek. All day Sunday is £16 per hour. So for a 12 hour shift it's just short of £200 which is great! I was also offered a job this a.m. from the sister on the ward, but although I'm feeling better I still have days when the fatigue is horrendous so I had to decline. It felt good and was a wee boost though....

Yay! Good for you little L! It's a shame you can't take it, but I know what you mean about it being a boost - things like that can really perk you up! :T
And well done on the mystery shopping Becs! I just haven't had time to sign up to any jobs yet. I was tutoring yesterday, which netted me £56 for 2 hours! I'm saving up in my current account until after my hols, then I'll pay it all of my debt in a big lump!Official Debt Free Wannabe Nerd Club member 095! Lloyds: £1906.28
Amex: £5862.22

I'm just plodding away at the moment. Expecting some Quidco money soon, just over £90! Also, have £117 burning a hold in my bank account, so might use it in anger against Capital One.
In other news, was accepted for the M&S Credit Card so will see what credit limit is before deciding how to use it - probably nuke the rest of Capital One. If the credit limit is bigger than Capital One, however, I might try to transfer more from Capital One than is on it, ending up with a positive balance to apply to the Egg Loan - converting part of a 7.9% loan to a 3.9% balance transfer.

Goals for Next Week:
1) At least £100 off balance, IN ADDITION to my usual debt repayments that are due to come out at the end of the month. DONE! :A
2) Tart some of my loan over to a lower interest credit card (barclay card), as I have some balance available. Doing it as we speak!
3) Balance Transfer to M&S card when it arrives DONE! :A
4)I'm NOT going to do any matched betting as I'm off on holiday on the 6th, and I'll be needing my cash! DONE! :A :rotfl:
5) Cancel my subscription to Time out, and save £7.50 a month DONE! :A
6) Do my accounts, so I don't get any nasty surprises from the Tax Man! DONE! :A
Goals for next 4 weeks (I'm going on hols to visit my parents in Greece, so this will be my last update for a while):
1) Stick to budget of £400 allowed for entire holiday.
2)Have at least £200 credit in my current account at end of said holiday, that I can then throw at a debt.
3) Send out at least 10 PERSONALISED letters to drum up freelance work for December
I'm so tempted to pay off the £33.02 to get myself under the next threshold..... shall I? shall I? Yes. I'll go and do it now :jOfficial Debt Free Wannabe Nerd Club member 095! Debt Now:
