Hi all, well we had torrential rain here this morning but it's better now. Had HM Sausage Casserole for tea and am going to roast some tomatoes to freeze and then have with cous cous for work lunches. Was a bit of a late night and I am quite rough so just going to do a quick clean and tidy and pop a wash on then sit down to watch Beaches at 7.

Happy Birthday to all those celebrating and hugs to all who need them.

    Evening all,

Happy birthday B.Rzl, Taplady's DS2 and Ms Bitsy, hope its been a good one for all.

Congratulations Molly...that will 'soften his cough' as the saying goes and be a warning to the others! Nice to have a civilised meal isn't it?

We've had rain for the last 2 days so was lovely to wake up this morning to a fine day...picked some fruit and scrabbled out 6 small potatoes for dinner, they were lovely, just had a salad and some tinned buckling (Lidl), as OH cooked a monster fry this morning we had plenty...had some sponge and fresh fruit afterwards....not OH, he might put on some weight!

Have had a really lazy day...took me ages to hoover the living room as 1) had to change bag and 2) managed to pick up a cork and *l*ody thing had no suction so had to sort that out....I hate hoovering so was really fed up by the time I'd finished. Have managed to read the whole paper so am going to do some knitting in a bit, think I'll have an early night, back is playing up a bit.

Welcome 666Paw, you will like it here.

Really getting bothered about so many people who are MIA....come back soon please, we miss you all.

    Hugs to all

    Marie

    Morning all

Donnygal - our new caravan is a single axle Bailey Senator Oklahoma 2006, fixed bed, it's really lovely and hardly been used, have got most of our kit back in situ, but after collecting it yesterday tried our existing awning on it and it didn't fit, so have bought a new one today, but have old one on ebay at the moment, so will use any money to pay of flexifriend! Not what we really needed 2 weeks before holiday - but at least now we're sorted.

OH is working next Saturday morning then we will pick up caravan and go to little site a few miles away so we can test everything out before we head up to Scotland for our 2 weeks holiday the following weekend. Am really ready for a holiday, the last 3-4 months have been quite turbulent and OH is definitely ready for a break, will be lovely as we're going on a rally but no-one else from our area is attending, so we will get a proper break!

Not really an OS day due to the money spent on a new awning, but had roast chicken, roast pots, new pots, cauli and broccolli cheese, carrots, peas, stuffing, yorkshires and gravy - cooked at home - didn't get it until 3pm but really enjoyed it, both DS's in bed so house is now quiet. Have a late start tomorrow as DS2 going on his school trip and I want to see him off on the bus.

Not much else to say really, keep safe and well everyone, hugs to those that need them.

    evening allll
had turned off desktop and decided that I needed an early night. But just as I was leaving the dining room I remembered that we were charging a very old lap top (FIL'S cast off) and had bought a new belkin wireless network card with the view that we had nothing to lose. So I stated it up installed the card and look ,I am on line. The battery is dead but it runs off the mains I am soooooo happy cos now we have another internet access for the girls and all for £30. And I can sit in bed and post to my hearts content without waiting for the computer to be free.:j:j DH always takes his net book away with him.
I know this isnt strictly OS but the computer was going in the bin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Free gifts are always lovely big hugs and thanx to FIL
I have had a super calm and stress free day after night duty last night. Shower this am then I woke tothe sun streaming through the curtains. Nice walk to the beach nice supper in the garden and spoke to DH he will be home for supper mon. Hooray.
I have extra shifts next week and the thought of three new pairs of school shoes keeps me motivated.
Just remembered that I have forgotten to get bus money out so I'll pop to the cash point and then go to bed:eek:
    night and big hugs
    xx
