Just coming back one last time (I promise!) To wish Tapper's DS a Happy 18th Birthday!

afternoon, yesterday we were at seaside to pick up a car full of stuff from ours ds to store until he finds accommodation for the start of new course in Oct,,hence my decluttering last week ,there were lots of black flying beetles about so did not hang around, and i find it very uncomfortable traveling anywhere at the moment.
on Fri i had a bit of a fall well i went head over heels after buying a few bits after dentist appointment not too badly hurt but very bruised knees,so yesterday i threw my rattle out of pram with more than a little force ,when i decided that despite my illness I'm doing far too much and OH is not doing his share and i have told ds when hes home not to expect to sit doing nothing all day, and i want the house tidy the way it normally is or i just cant rest and thats the way i am. ( i do not a over clean)
well back to OS 2 loads of washing out,
chicken grilled and mashed turnip and potatoes
hugs and waves to all and congratulations to with birthdays or anniversaries ,Tapper's DS a Happy 18th Birthday0 -
afternoon!
first chance I've had to post since Friday. Busy at work and now today is DS2s 18th birthday - my baby is now officially a man so I must be classed as being old now:D
Been carbooting this morning and got some lovely cherries and grapes really cheap plus another book to add to my collection.
We've taken advantage of the Morrisons offer in the Sun paper £5 off a £40 spend for the next 6 weeks.:T
Need to pick more strawberries, peas and beans later:j
(((hugs))) to those in need, I'll pop back later and have a proper read.
Take care all x x xDo what you love :happyhear0 -

he boys were so naughty yesterday, it was very muggy and warm here and they dont do well in the heat. They slept okay but up very early so they have both fell asleep (yey!).
I was ironing today at 8am, everything else was done due to being up early! Its bright here again but breezy which is a relief! the boys have got Spain in a childrens world cup sweep so they have either won £10 or £6, when asked what they wanted to do wih their winnings they said buy us all a macdonald for a treat! they can be good - sometimes!
OH at work, he finishes at 4pm so we are meeting him and going to macdonalds, not my idea of a good tea but we dont go often. got to go to card shop as well, we have birthdays this week including DS2 and we dont have enugh cards, they sell nice ones any 7 for £1. got DS2 a Ben 10 Way big figure of ebay yesterday, he will be so excited thay are around £40 to buy new and with money off my brother and sister in law I struck a deal for £10 buy it now on a used on!

Afternoon all
It started of grey and murky this morning but now it is hot hot hot
Have stripped all the beds and washed everything I could find and the last load is on the line as I type. It is drying in no time
The reason is the forecast for tomorrow is heavy rain so I wanted to get everything done and out of the way - we really badly do need some rain.
DH has got a school trip with the little 'uns tomoz what a shame if it rains
666paw Welcome
Molly41 I think my DS has been reading this thread :rotfl:he actually got up and did his room out (Mind you if you had seen the washing and washing up the little blighter brought me down you would weep:eek: I made him do his own washing up but I do the washing so he has been let off there, but he did do all the weeding in the garden for me this afternoon so he is out of the dog house .
Dinner tonight is salad, gammon and pineapple (no potato products as we are low carbing but might do DS and DD and her BF a few new potatoes )
Jayward I hope you are ok falls when you are not 100% are not good (((((((((Hugs))))))))
DD used to be like your DS but thankfully has grown out of it I think it was after I sat her down for a chat and explained that I need her help because I can't do a lot anymore. I also wrote down every bill that goes out of the house and said if she didn't like the rules then she could try living in the real world so she is a lot better now.
jc I always get a little sad on Orange day because it was my Dad's birthday and even though he has been gone for 24 years I still have a little cry
Taplady Happy 18th for your DS _party_
Bitsy Happy birthday for your DD I hope she has had a great day
Happy Birthaday bargainrzl :bdaycake:
Well I am off to see if any more washing is Dry ((((((Hugs to all in need)))))))) and hoping everyone MIA is ok xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Yes he has a huge pile of washing to do. Still he is getting on with it as we speak. Hopefully a lesson learned but we will see!I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Well done Molly - I'm really impressed. It is so hard sometimes with 'young adults' behaving in a way that you're not happy with. Try not to worry about his life-style - sometimes young people have to go through their own journey before they really 'find themselves'. It won't help you any to worry!
We went out for lunch today and had a roast turkey dinner. Goodness it was fab. haven't had a roast dinner for a long time and I certainly can't remember the last time I had turkey. We went for a walk afterwards and watched the boat for trips up the Forth coming in - the poor people who came off said 'good luck' to us - we certainly weren't going on it:eek:.
Ok, off out with doggies.
Hope you all enjoy the rest of your Sunday

Hello everyone, hope we're all as well as can be expected? Not much to report really, other than I have got all my jobs done and then some! Enjoyed a nice quiet drink in the pub yesterday afternoon too, even if the prices were a bit . But it's a nice place, I like it in there, so I saw it as a treat and well-deserved reward after doing all my chores.
Doctor's tomorrow morning before work, mustn't forget as I can see myself still asleep just going straight past and going to work as normal. Then the blood service is here again, so I made an appointment for after work to do that too. I've only donated once before and am not sure if I will be able to at this session, but going along anyway to see what they say, I think/hope I will probably be allowed.
ETA - Owowow I've just scalded myself! On my hand, accidentally splashed hot stock over it. Stuck it under cold water but it still stings, seems pretty minor though so hope it'll be better soon
