hi Marg (or is it Margie Clark !?) i had to get in touch when i saw that you had put bowel screening and your signature was to say you are in control -- hee hee, sorry my macabre warped 5yr old humour - now that im 52 haha

Oh that brightened up a miserable morning - thanks - you have the same warped sense of humour as me!

And I'll answer to anything basically! Have to admit prefer Marg to Margie - for some reason folk in England seem to like Marge which makes me feel like a lump of fat - does nothing for the self-confidence ......

Another advantage (?) is that young men give up their seat for you in crowded buses - happened to me the other week - I didn't know whether to laugh or cry :rotfl:

  • I have a lovely printed sign on my wall that says: With age comes skills. It's called 'Multi Tasking' I can LAUGH, COUGH, FART and Pee ALL AT THE SAME TIME

  • As far as I'm aware this screening is only offered to the over 60's !!!! so dont think we can even look forward to that !!!!!
Hey you get to do free bowel screening tests - I got one through the post the day after my 50th birthday - it was a blast! Almost as good as the party!! :rotfl:

You can join the University Of The Third Age which I am really looking forward to.
Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
    And we were young.

Just turned 60 - I got my bowel screening test through the post (yum). I also noticed a Boots reduction - but for over 60s.
I have to say I have noticed more fit young men coming to help me with packages. Not complaining - but darn it, I must look old...
