Hers are fake so she wouldn't feel a darn thing!! :D
Neither will the radiographer, according to my friend the boob-squisher. She bemoans the fact that all the "fashion" for implants leaves a terrible legacy as breast-screening doesn't really work well because the implants stop their view of the breast, leaving the implantee with more risk of getting un-detectable breast cancer. The cosmetic surgery clinics and magazines don't mention that.

I've just had the breast screening - aaaaargh!! They said it would be a bit uncomfortable. They squished them completely! (and I'm flat-chested - imagine what it would like if you were Jordan . . .):D
I had my first one on Pancake Day - appropriate or what????

  • This whole thread is titled over 50 money saving, but, having just turned 50 I don't seem to have managed to get any reductions for this.
What am I missing out on guys?

Discounts are very hard to come by for being over 50. You can certainly forget about anything at all Saga offers you.

A couple of years ago, I did actually find a worthwhile 10% discount on a holiday with Forces travel. If anyone in the party is over 50, you get a 10% discount. Also if anyone in the party is under 21, you get a 10% discount (only one discount per holiday though). Then there were several other criteria where you got a 10% discount. In fact, it was very difficult to work out how anyone booking a holiday with them didn't get the 10% discount.

Perhaps the issue is that 50 is middle aged? For which there are few rewards other than wrinkles.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
  • Well you can save on the heating bills too if youre a woman! Hot flushes kick in big time then, such a joy (NOT)

And you can get away with saying (in your best Joyce Grenville voice)
"Yeng maaan" when you wish to speak to any male under 30.
or you can say primly "run along" and wave your hand at disparaging youths, but they wouldnt take any notice and wouldnt know what disparaging was....
oh there is the breast screening, and chiropody to look forward to, what fun, such a knees up !
