I think we all missed the point Pastuesnew was trying to make.
This board may be titled "Over 50s Money Saving" but that is a misnomer because as we see above there really is very little of value to anyone aged 50 to 60.
Once you achieve 60, or as we have seen in other threads on this board 60+, Then all sorts of things kick in.
This board was recently renamed, by poll, and now carries a misleading title to the detriment of all.The only thing that is constant is change.0 -
You can now proudly join the AARP and claim discounts on US hotel stays! (Really) http://www.aarp.org/0

I thought I would look and see what's on offer - but nothing really. Also the goalposts have changed for over 60's and by the time you get there it'll have gone up to 66 or 72!!!0

I've just had the breast screening - aaaaargh!! They said it would be a bit uncomfortable. They squished them completely! (and I'm flat-chested - imagine what it would like if you were Jordan . . .):D
Hers are fake so she wouldn't feel a darn thing!!Knowledge is often mistaken for intelligence. This is like mistaking a cup of milk for the whole cow.0 -
