This is the compressed air spray. It'll fit in a coat pocket for dog walking, and although I have no experience of using it to break up a fight, I know it scares the bejesus out of any dog I've ever seen it used near!
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Then I would wash the wound with diluted Hibiscrub, it's the pink stuff the Vet gives us from time to time. .
Hibiscrub is a antiseptic pre op handwash and not suitable for internal or open cuts. So I would not use it for this.

I hope your dog is okay op, i know how you feel about your dog being savaged by this vicious breed. I have had no end of problems with them, and their stupid chavy owners.

I see you never get tired of spouting drivel.

I have two staffs, neither are vicious, I'm not a chav or even remotely chavy, I'm also not stupid. I know quite a few staffy owners, none of whom fit into the 'chavy' or 'stupid' category.

So once again, please don't judge everyone based on your own silly little closed minded opinions. It's offensive.

OP. Hope your dog doing today? Well I hope, was in a similar situation myself last week, it's not pleasant and you do panic. I'm glad it wasn't serious.

I dont really understand all this choke the dog, bite the dog all your doing is inciting the dog to fight more as it thinks its getting attacked more by the other dog so fights even more .

If any breed is fighting and you want it stopped all you have to do is hold each dog steady and if one of them has a grip then you wiggle your finger into the back of their gums(right up to the back teeth where there is a space and push into it.) This makes the dog open its mouth and you can get them apart. A dog should not bite its owner but may bite someone doing this who is not their owner. What you also find with the staffy, APBT type breeds is that they dont snap indiscriminately at anything that moves near their mouths like most dogs do but will latch on to a bit of skin thus actually making it safer to get in there and stop the fight .

If anyone has problems with any dog attacking their dog on a regular basis buy or make a breaking stick. This is a good strong quality wood and its made into a flat edge. Takes seconds to open the dogs mouth.

Just as aside the dogs our ones have been attacked by are all owner faults. Totally idiots that should never have dogs in the first place.

I have to totally disagree - I'm sorry but this is just dangerous advice.
Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree! :D

lol, I got this to stop my dogs jumping up on the sides, sadly for me I use compressed air in the house a lot when fixing PC's. So they just looked at me as if to say 'oh, you're fixing a pc again' and proceeded to jump on the side lol.

Clearly it was around the same time you crawled out of yours.

Dogs saliva is made for just that....licking and healing wounds.
It is unfair and unkind to put a "lampshade" on your dogs head when all he wants to do is tend to his sore leg.
