Pipex...Who are they??

We were with Bulldog until about 2005? which then were taken over by Pipex which were taken over by Tiscali, about 2007?

This is in the Manchester area.

Tiscali and Pipex retained some staff from Bulldog (Google it and find out about the most complained about outfit since Gengis Kahn).

We ended up taking our problem with them to the Telecom ombudsman and we ended up with some money and an apology.

It is highly likely that this is a typical Bulldog/Pipex cockup and your letter is from a company who has 'bought the debt'.

I rather think that this is a try on - quite frustrating really - just ignore though.

I didn't " mislead " anybody, I just cut and paste that info from the Carphone Warehouse site, which is of course in the public domain.

Is Talk Talk ashamed in some way that Charles Dunstone is involved with Talk Talk?, he does after all openly submit to the Talk Talk blog.

I am not suggesting your intentions was to mislead, however information can be misconstrued.

Having Charles as our Chairman does not denote that TalkTalk and CPW are in any way affiliated. I have only outlined this point, by making the comparison that CPW and Princes Trust are also not affiliated, yet Charles hold Chairmanships in both.

Since the Demerger customers incorrectly understanding that TalkTalk are part of CPW GRoup has resulted in incorrectly directed communication and confusion.

As such I feel it pertinent to clarify this in the event it is unclear.
