Up until this year, I have always had deterioration every single eye test....2 years ago I had a really big jump which I was upset about (not least because of the cost of the glasses!!) but I had sort of guessed that year it would be as I had been suffering from horrendous headaches. But this year I hdan't had the same problems so I hoped that it would be just a small worsening....didn't expect what she told me at all!!Jo - Sounds like you've had a lovely day - my eyes have finally started getting better too - my optician says it normally takes 21 years to see a change for the better and mine was slap, bang on 21 years. By the time I'm 90 I should have 20-20 vision
