If you see a headline in Tues' paper, "Woman murders staff of insurance company," it's probably me. :rotfl:
I'd clocked off from work and was coming up to a Give Way line. There was a taxi 150, maybe 200, yards down the road, crawling around a corner. I figured I had plenty of room to go and pulled out. Next thing I know, there's headlights right behind me. The guy must have slammed down on the accelerator as soon as he got around the corner. I slam down on mine to get away, the fan belt picks that moment to screech so loud I thought it was the tyres for a second, and a policeman looks up and flags me over. All he'd seen was the taxi right up my back end and braking, he thought I'd pulled out in front of it. He checked my insurance on their database, it says I've only got Class 1 Business (driving between locations) not Class 2 (hire and reward) which I need.
I've checked my insurance document now I've got home and it says it covers use for business and carrying passengers for hire and reward but excluding use for public hire. But in the next paragraph, it says it excludes carrying passengers for hire and reward. So I've very confused, not that I carry passengers, I carry pizza. So I'm not sure if it is valid for work but since the police system says it isn't, I'm guessing it isn't. So I'll probably have to go to a magistrates court and explain what happened. And if it isn't valid, then I've been mis-sold and will rip a new one for whoever it was at the insurance company who couldn't understand that 'delivering pizzas' = needs 'hire and reward' cover. The best bit was, I was clocked off and on my way home, which I was too upset to think to mention at the time. So I wasn't even using the car for business, I'd finished work for the night. That didn't even dawn on me 'til I called my mum, she was the one who spotted it. So I'll tell them that tomorrow, see if it makes any difference. I'd better get to sleep before I start crying again.James picked one heck of a time to go to Florida.

Yeah, I'm taking them in tomorrow morning. Hopefully that's what'll happen, I've never been in trouble before (well, except for the stop light incident) so that ought to work in my favour. Plus, I'll probably start crying again no doubt. I'm still pretty close to it now.

Fingers crossed I'll get nothing worse than a warning, I can't afford a fine.
I've been watching this to cheer myself up. It's hard to be unhappy when watching something that cute!
