Pap,
I have never been told that is can kill on my training-I have been told that it isn't a great thing to do, mainly because you can get drunk very quickly and because its empty carb-based calories AND it lowers your resolve/inhibitions and most people eat when they are drunk-or the next day when they have a hangover. I can say hand on heart I have not ever been told it can kill on any of my training not heard anything like that.
I have to say, every single one of my customers bar a certain 2 who shall remain nameless have had a drink despite my advice. In fact, I had a client who drank 20 pints on one night (yes, that is correct-20!) and he still lost 10 lbs.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
interesting-I have read the link but find it strange that through my Cambridge training this has not been brought up.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0

Read the link above, if you drink while in ketosis you knock all your glucose levels out, as you know these are very deplited in ketosis anyways. It has happened that people glucose levels have actually effect their brain functions giving them at the worst strokes/death at the min a very fuzzy light head (I suppose the same as a hangover).
It does effect people differently, but my stance is why take the chance to be the one fatal person?
Oh and my CDC's never told me either I read that/about it through wiki (maybe) about 2 months before starting0 -
