Yeah spent too much time reporting into PM's and battling with them as most seem to have a narrow IT skillset and are unable to scope in the rest.
For example, you ask them to order something and they say they know what that entails and you find out they dont order everything else associated with it. Most have a minimal skillset, so for example, some have say expert SAN knowledge but nothing in terms of what is needed if we were to run a citrix farm on there using VMWare and what we would need in terms of spec and licensing etc etc0 -
I think i am getting somewhere... My network is WEP encrypted. I have just turned the encryption off and it worked perfectly well. so the problem is with the printer failing to get thru the security even though i put all the details in when installing the printer... weird0

Any idea anyone? Obviously I cant turn my security off, so not sure what to do??

Dont know if this helps I am using Cannon wireless printer.
One thing I found was that if I had to use WEP KEY 1 as selecting other numbers disabled the connection between the machine and AirPort. So had to configure everything to use WEP KEY 1 Laptop, computer, router, printer.0 -
In that case and I was going to go along them lines is to change it to WPA2 and bet it works 100 % if not download this pleaseI think i am getting somewhere... My network is WEP encrypted.
