Preparedathome, if you get it to grow, holly makes an excellent hedge to keep folk out of your garden :)

Well we had a really old style tea tonight. ;) HM soup made from cabbage, onions, carrots, lentils and barley. Followed by a sort of fish cakey type thing made with mashed tatties, bacon bits, onions, and cabbage. I cooked it long and slow and it was LOVELY. So however much that cost it wasnt a lot, and meals like that might be a big help to us in the days to come.
God.. I nearly said "in the dark days to come"...been reading too many wartime books!

Thank you Annie :rotfl: it was late when I was pootling about. I now understand your comment elsewhere :rotfl:. Well it made you all think didnt it. I do live in the inner city you know :) Anyway all in all the supermarkets are making a fortune 'off the back ' of lambs :o

its a good job I have a sense of humour or I would be quoting all these comments and taking umbrage :rotfl:

Im going to have a luxurious bath now and not think about succulent roast lamb with mint sauce but all those endangered 2 legged lams wandering about
