Yes hunny, no more craft fairs for me! Mind you by the time I had paid out for personal liability insurance - in case anyone had a nasty accident with my crochet blankets - I wouldnt make enough to buy the Sunday Post:rotfl:I gave it all up when I stopped work, though as a carer I can work 16 hours a week, then I imagine it would be deducted from our other benefits as is my carers allowance, including the 650 quid back pay they owed me :mad::mad:. Its a shame you had to give up too but thats life and it meant you could send me that lovely box of goodies when I was having a lousy time, which cheered me up no end.Clearing the junk to travel light

I'm on state pension yes, but the RV is on pension credit. Its too much hassle and I havent got the energy to bother. Bathbombs are one part citric to either 2 or 3 parts bicarb. 2 parts bicarb makes very hard very fizzy bombs. Then add essential oils or fragrance oils but not candle ones. Mic dry ingreds well, add colour and scent, then spray with a tiny drop water and mould into balls.0

Large screwtop jar - lid covered in a circle of Christmassy fabric, tied with ribbon; maybe a spoon attached to the jar and a cellophane bag of croutons?
Depends on the soup - something thick would look great, but thin veggie soup might end up looking like barf in a clear jar  so a VERY large label which wraps all the way round might be de rigueur...0 -
......carefully (with tongue stuck out and eyes crossed) using a magnifying glass to gift wrap a stock cube.....:D

What about in a big kilner jar type thing? That would be part of the pressie of course - I got some quite cheap in Ikea but I'm guessing you're a long way from one. I'm sure they can be bought in lots of places though. I just love the look of them as they are but you could decorate with ribbon and a sprig of holly.Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!
