Thanks Sally and Squizz. Sally I tend to run in parks/fields etc I have never run on the road and don't really want to. Therefore I tend to lap myself or run around in circles. I have tried interval training before but I don't seem to keep it up :( I think I will just have to keep with it and increase my distance slowly. Because I have little/no speed I think I make running much harder for myself but sadly I can't change that.

Ah well, I shall run the 10k :D Just need to get on with it :o
    :( didn't I help even a teeny bit :(:p

Just kidding. If it helps I walked about a km of my first 10k

I'm so bored of feeling yucky, this better not last all weekend. And to top it off, we have no money this week for food - oh pants.

Sorry Gem :( Can you live on cupboard food?

I got the tyres pumped up and rode (with some walking up hills) home in 45 mins (I am v slow).

Unfortunately the key cutting place faled to be able to cut the spare car key. The chap will order more blanks and I have to go there again next week  I spent ages being hot and bothered guarding the car whilst he didn't manage to cut a key that opened the door and started the car :(

Have fun Luc -I haven't forgotten I owe you a thank you - I passed the dissertation - capped at 50% but I would have got 58% (for some reason they tell you that!)

So glad you passed! Was it capped because it was a resubmit then? That;s a shame. Still, in the long run a pass is a pass and the marks become insignificant. So what is the next step?

Yup, capped as a resubmission. Your help was very important and definitely helped get me through the final hurdle.

    Next steps are:
    * wait for formal documents from uni and then update my professional institution membership - top upgrade to being chartered will involve a fiddly application process with references :( I am a little worried that my current role is rather narrow to meet the criteria they want
    * have applied for masters "top up" course place to convert my professional studies into a masters degree

well done on the dissertation :D

It's farrrrrrrrrrrrrrr too hot! Got in the car to drive home and the steering wheel was too hold to hold! I had to just use my fingertips on the edge of the wheel and then go 'ow, ow, ow' when having to hold it to go round a corner!
