Ok southerns we need a team name. Its not having the word chav in it either!!

Who is in the southerners team? We need names!

So wednesday we're all going to weigh in our starting weights, and see what we collectively lose after a week or longer?

My starting weight will be like 10 stone 9. If i lose 2lbs my percentage will bee..
Eric (im guessing here) weighs 20 stone 3lbs and he loses 7lbs, his percentage is...

149lbs - 147 lbs (2) = % loss of 1.34

283lbs - 276lbs (7)= % loss of 2.47

OK... if you weigh 149lbs and lose 2lb then you've lost 1.3% of your body weight
I weigh 388lbs and if I lose 4lbs then I've lost 1%, which means you're the winner :-)

(by the way if you want help with the maths, it's 2 divided by 149 times 100)

Ive just been watching "half ton man" on tv!!! The poor chap makes me look like twiggy. He claimed that he didn't eat any differently to anybody else, but the doc said that in order to maintain his 60 stone weight he would need to eat 15000 calories every day. 15000 calories! that's an awful lot of picking!

I think there's 5 of us...yourself, fellpony, beanielou, mazza and me.
plenty of room for more if anybody else wants to join in!
Team name: I suggested "Buckfast Beauties" seeing as vix said that buckfast has northern written all over it! I dont think there have been any other names put forward, I'm happy to go along with what everyone else thinks. Any ideas?
Team leaders: i don't think so but if you put yourself forward i'll give you my support.
Maybe this will give you the motivation that you were looking for earlier :-)

By the way, are you watching the Biggest Loser USA tonight? I will be glued to the tv.

Maybe the southerners could be Vix's Victors? (I think it was your idea Vix?) And obviously the south will win.
