but I can't remember when ...0 -
I've got two teenage door slammers here. I've found if I shout after them "don't forget to slam the door on your way out", they close it ever so quietly :rotfl:
My major annoyance at the moment is children ringing our bell while we are eating our tea. Every night we have a meal at 5.30pm, and every night at least one child interupts to ask if the boys are playing out.
Sometimes we ignore the bell, so they come and peer through the window and can see us sitting at the table eating, and then they go back and ring the bell again.
And it's even more annoying if I answer the door and say we are eating and about 10 minutes later they come back as ask if we've finished yet - arrrrghhh! Here I go again on my own....0 -
My mate's teenage DS was a slammer and also very untidy...one day she 'accidentally' knocked his gameboy thing with her foot...well he'd left it on the floor and it just happened to end up by the door...which when slammed, smashed the console! He was more careful with the door after that:D0

OMG i have this too. I call DS in "time for tea!!"
He says to friends "i'm going in for my tea"
2 minutes later
*knock knock*
Do one brats, you all just heard me call him in for his tea:mad::mad:0 -
My 4 year old deliberately slams doors in temper.
We're in a new house, so every door has one of those slow close latches, so they cannot be slammed... loses the effect she was trying to create!Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Remove the doors.
:rotfl:thats exactly what my dad did to my bedroom door when i was about 13 because i slammed it every time i went through it :rotfl:
now though 3 children of my own 17,11,and 4 i find myself shouting about how they walk up and down the stairs you would think the 11 year old was a half ton elephant,
:rotfl::rotfl:when your life is a mess light one more cigarette its so logical!!
get up and dance, get up and smile, get up and drink to the days that are gone in the shortest while :T
