Opinion Outpost - Any Good?

I'm looking at maybe earning some extra cash online and I came across opinion outpost. Does anyone know anything about them? Are they worth signing up to? I don't want to give my details to just anyone and end up being scammed heh.

I signed up with these over a month ago and they seem quite alright. The surveys are sprodic, 2 in a week and then nothing for 2 weeks, but every little helps. All the surveys I've done have been quick and all points have been awarded.

I checked them out online and couldn't find any problems/scams connected to them, only good stuff. I checked the site for T&C's, privacy policy and FAQ's etc and everything was there and made sense.

I personally don't like Opinion Outpost. I've been a member for a few months now and I've yet to earn anythin. When I get surveys, I find that I can't answer the questions - for example, it'll ask what part of the UK I live in, but it doesn't give Northern Ireland as an option - nor does it give "other" as an option. So, I haven't been able to finish a single survey. If they didn't take Northern Irish folks then why did they let me sign up? It's a shame, since they pay out once you hit £2.50. Others want you to have £10 or even £25+.

I have been signed up with OO for some months now and to be honest was going to give up on them as the return has been pretty poor to date.

However tonight I tried their new revamped website, which is a lot better organised than previously, and I got a load of surveys one after the other, earned £6, claimed it and in my paypal account within a couple of hours :j. Couldn't believe it! Fastest survey earnings apart from pinecone, just hope it lasts!

I joined Opinion Outpost a couple of weeks ago and now have enough points for my first redemption.

I go to Redeem Points and choose Paypal. I type in the amount of points I would like to redeem and it takes me straight to the Paypal logging in page and asks me to log in to Paypal.

I'm not sure whether to trust it or not. Has anyone else done this and not had any problems?

You don't need to log in to paypal for someone to pay you. All they need is your email address.

I would be quite wary; although it is probably just a glitch in their page, I definitely wouldn't log in through a link from someone else's site. I would suggest contacting them and asking what's going on.

I have done this many times without issue.


Does seem a little strange but it's not a problem as far as I can see.

I've done it many times on this site and OpinionWorld. Both SSI survey companies.

The payment is sent instantly. The reason you signin is to confirm it is a genuine live account and then you receive your money instantly, all done automatically. It cuts down on site admin.

I'm sure some of you have never had any issues with Opinion Outpost but I just wanted to share my story so you can be aware.

I've been with Opinion Outpost for 2 years and never had any issues until the past couple days and it has been a nightmare for me. I tried to log in into my account and I've been greeted with the message " Your account has been banned" so I messaged them on Facebook and they said to me to email them... so I emailed them and I only received few automated emails saying we are looking into it. Few hours later I managed to magically log in into my account, all my points were there etc.. so I thought that my issue is fixed" I even sent them an email saying thank you" but No there is more into it seems, I had the same issue again the next day" Your account has been banned" so I sent them an email again yesterday and all I got is automated emails, I sent them a direct Facebook message explaining very well the issue and they said to me they will get back to me within few hours without a solution and so far no solution. My account is still the same I'm being unbanned and banned again randomly during the day for the past 3 days and there is nothing I can do. I'm not even entirely sure they know what the issue is, some people also told me that maybe there is an issue with their system but they aren't saying anything.
