Okay, try this then: Ani, leave that music alone, go and do some housework!

And very probably alot of people who are in debt, would'nt think twice about buying themself a drink, if they wanted one. Enjoy your half a cup :)

    What happened to Maty?

Very good point: it's the 'it's only a couple of punds' syndrome... which is why Poundstretcher does so well!

I shall enjoy the half a cup very much if I can organise myself to get it, thanks. It's a long time since I had one of those idced drinks but they are absolutely gorgeous on a hot day.

I'm not sure where Maty is... I have a feeling she said she was away, but I'm not sure where I read that or when it was. Calling Maty!!! Where are you? Come and tell us you're okay, or if not, come and tell us anyway. :) You're missed!

As for me, I'm working tonight from 6 till 7.30 tomorrow morning so I'm going to get my head down, night all. :)

    Thank you for sharing.

Hi and welcome to coffee and chocolate! Plenteous virtual supplies of both, please make yourself at home. :)

There is also plenty of Earl Grey if you prefer tea (I get it specially for Ani but I see there's some left).

I'll catch up later, it's very rude of me when I have guests, I know, but I really must get some sleep. :)

Thanks Maty! USA, huh? Lucky you, is this holiday? I hope you have a fab time whatever you're doing. Have something horribly calorific for me, I've heard about American food. :)

Sorry Ani, that probably means there aren't any. Pass the washing up liquid, there's a star. And the tea towels are in the drawer. :D

Thanks for dropping in Chev - I'm sure Ani will put the kettle on for you. ;)
I'm still trying to take control of the money... DH's salary went down last summer and mine effectively has as of March (I'm not getting as many sleepover payments now I'm doing nights), so the poor mortgage overpayment has gone nowhere quickly. I still remember with pride that I managed an overpayment (once) last summer!

    My Ta Das...

Rang dentist (tooth niggling) - this is the private dentist so I've been putting it off but the NHS one is in another town and would take all afternoon to get there and back, plus the private one is the best I've ever had and I have a feeling one trip to him saves me several trips elsewhere.

Oh, that was useful! First time I've put that into words and I think it's true. So glad of an excuse! (The private dentist is the one who rescued me from a week of horrible pain when a tooth died while I was on holiday once. He managed to fill a root canal so brilliantly that I had to keep myself from dozing off while he did it. No wonder I prefer him. Let's hope he's still as good! LOL).

Rang Mum's solicitor - they are going to type up something to do with the POA. Methinks 'tis just as well I rang or it might have taken even longer.

Rang for my podiatry appointment... extraordinary answerphone message which takes a long time to say they are only open two days a week for the next couple of weeks. (Sigh). No opportunity to leave a message saying 'please will you put me on your waitihg list like what the podiatrist asked me to do'. (Another sigh).

    My To Dos:

    Get down to the shops
    Pay in cheque
    put rabbits on grass
    prep study for tonight
    tidy up

    See you later. :)

To Do list completed, more or less, though I was kind and let the rabbits stay in as it was raining.

Tesco has a bunch of new offers up, or ones I hadn't noticed before. They are very good at putting offers in different ways so it's hard to see which is the best bargain. In the end I was happy anyway because I got a certain type of suasages which I thought DS had said he liked, but which I expected might meet with some opposition as they have herbs in. Actually he was glad I got them - which is excellent as it's a move in th direction of a wider diet.

(I look back nostalgically to the days when they were young and everybody's favourite were Netto's sausages. I don't know what happened but they started to mutter about these. Perhaps I made the mistake of letting them try another sort?! Now we haven't had them for years).

And going back to the subject of Tesco - is there a shortage of cotton buds or something? Or of tinned apples? Why can't I get things I could buy a few weeks ago?

Must get off that hobby horse before I start to ask where their apricots in syrup went... or do I need a life?!

    (Miggy stomps off, muttering).

Oh, and Ani - all the cups are now clean and in the cupboard, you will be pleased to know! I've restocked the Earl Grey and there's a pack of Bourbon biscuits if the children didn't get there first. Also some more milk in the fridge and there's decaff if anyone prefers it. As for me - hot choc then bed.
