Yeah I didn't sleep last night but at least I got my posh phone for haggling with V*......via the links on here. I have to pay like £189 up front (next month) which the sturdy spreadsheet has already on but still....Nice S3...Just hope I can sort out my ebay covers now - they say they've been sent but I know full well I haven't paid for them

I wonder who ever cares when a faceless internet name disappears out of our lives? I wonder how dd is doing at uni? I wonder how mum is? I wonder how work is going? I wonder how the gardening is going? I wonder how those xmas lists are going? ( because you are bound to be thinking and planning for xmas, and having all your family around you, and dd's return from uni, ) I wonder how miggy is? You don't know how much i miss being part of your virtual family.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

Hello Lovely People... and thank you so much for missing me.
I've been missing you too.
I have been keeping a sort of promise to spend less time on here, but it really has been a long time, hasn't it? Stuff has been going on, but bit by bit and little by little progress is being made.
Mum was ill again - better now.
Small Furry has gone to the great garden in the sky.
I've had some bug and am still trying to shake it off.
DD is loving Uni.
Work is okay.
Money saving is trundling along.
A few more weeks and the days will be getting longer.
Look after yourselves - even if I'm not on here, I still wonder how people are. (I haven't read anyone's diary for ages - sorry. But I do think of you).
xxMiggy

... and a Happy New Year.
Should I say a prosperous one, this being MSE? Maybe not:
A man is seeing out the remainder of his days surrounded by the results of his MS ways and begs that he be allowed to take one case of his things to Heaven. Of course that isn't usually how things happen but he says it means a lot to him so in the end they make an exception and he duly arrives at the Pearly Gates with his Revelation in tow.
St. Peter is curious and begs to know what's in it - this takes a while as the man is gawping at the awesome scenery.
"Please tell me," St. P. asks yet again. "I can't imagine what you would want that would fit in a suitcase."
The man gives in and opens the clasp, revealing...
...gold bars.
"Paving stones?" Asks St. Peter incredulously. "You brought PAVING STONES to Heaven?"And now - I really MUST get some sleep.Miggy

Great year so far though I have yet to make it to bed before midnight.
Saw this: http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/the-most-profitable-new-years-resolution-i-ve-ever-made-164042455.html
I think our best money resolution was to agree a cash amount for food and stick to it. Well, okay, it went well over at Christmas and when we went on holiday but other than that it saves us a great deal.Miggy

Hi Miggy - coming out of lurkdom!
I think for me it was spending more time on here. I do understand that it can take over from real life, but it has been very helpful for me to be in an environment where people are watching the pennies, finding the real pleasures in life from their faith and those they love, and where possible turning their backs on the craziness of the consumer world.
Have a great 2013.0
