That's what that dream says :)

    E

:rotfl:Not even tempted :D Very strange dream though.

(I'm not saying that to sound virtuous btw. It's just something that doesn't tempt me... chocolate, now...)

Been texting too and fro between me and my line manager - she's going to try to get someone to do one of my night shifts later in the week. I hope there is someone. 60 hours in 7 days is not good news. All the more extreme as my contract is 21 hours! I must admit I thought about it - before tax it's about £70 a shift but I just feel so ill when I do too many nights, and it's worse at the moment as the decorators have been in at work. Last night I had 8 windows open and the front door open on the chain and I still felt so sick from the paint smell that I had to keep taking breaks out of doors or going to the bathroom where the paint smell hadn't got in!

If there's no one else to take the shift, I'll find something to spend it on that makes me happy.:D

Anyway, enough of that. Off to see Mum.

Did you see the headlines in the daily express today? Something along the lines of chocolate a day keeps the doctor away..................:rotfl:

" A DAILY dose of cocoa could be the secret to halting Alzheimer’s disease, researchers claim. "

Double it, then add some, and you reach the amount of hours i was working at one point, around 120 hours a week + travelling. It isn't sustainable on a regular basis. I managed it for around 4 months. Plus the stress of hiding what you were doing from your employers, as it was highly illegal at one of the places i was working. :o

Needless to say, now, i would NEVER do it again. Never.

Horrendous. No other way to describe it.

On a lighter note, someone has offered to take the Friday shift for me, so now I'm doing daytime tomorrow, Thursday night and a few hours on Sunday. Much better.

Training survived and actually quite enjoyed, DH safely home (bringing coffee) and I need some rest, which will be interesting as tomorrow is the Thursday of Doom, i.e. DD's A Level results and DH's job interview, then I have an appointment (nothing dire) and am working at night.
