Thanks to MSE I have learnt to ignore any stats that indicate a softening in house prices as just noise, one months figures, and so on. Of course had they gone up it would be far more significant.

Yes. That's called verbal humour. It's a pun, and I thought a rather good and very appropriate one, given the context. I wouldn't have made the original joke, because TBH, it wouldn't have occured to me, but as someone else had, I thanked it.

There is absolutely nothing remotely witty in Harry's post, verbal or otherwise. It's a rather pathetic attempt at sexualised bullying.

If my smiley and thanks had followed me posting round 15 personal, sexualised insults aimed at chucky over the last 2 days, I might think you had a point. As it didn't, you don't.
