I have read about the adapter but mine didnt come with one. Will take it into a store and see what I can do. Thanks all.0 -
2 things:
- if your old phone was an iPhone, just sync it to iTunes on your PC. Then sync your new iPhone to iTunes, and everything - contacts, email, texts, photos, the lot - will be transferred to your new phone.
- if its another phone, you need to put the micro sim in an adapter then put it in the old phone and back up your contacts to the new sim.For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.0 -
which network did you get your iPhone on? Orange stores have a system where you can copy all your info from your old handset (pics, contacts, music etc) to your new one, if you have orange care it's free otherwise i think it's £6Yes Your Dukeiness0

The best way to do this will be is
1. On your old phone make a backup of all your numbers onto your memory card.
2. Transfer this folder from your memory card onto your your PC desktop. (You can save it anywhere but will make it easy to find from your desktop)
3. In you PC if you have Vista you should have a folder called windows contacts and open it. You probably have only one contact in there called admin or you might not have any at all.
4. Right click on there and click on import contacts. When the next box comes up select your folder on your desktop and open it.
5. highlight all the contacts and click on Ok or import.
6. this process will change them all from a I think it csv to windows format.
7.connect your phone to itunes and click on get windows contacts. This will transfer all your contacts onto your iphone
Hope this helps.0 -
