New patio - concrete between slabs breaking up
Comments
-
Hi all. I've posted on another thread, asking for advice, cos the grouty bits on my patio have broken up, DH is disabled and can't do it, and refuses to have A Man In, so it's left to me.
I wanted to know if you could buy cement in tubes, like toothpaste, cos I thought that would be easiest, but alas you can't.
I am a willing have-a-go pensioner, and now have some Wickes Buff something, that I have to brush into the cracks, though I was advised to dribble it in with a jug.
Anyway, whether I make a complete hash of it, or not, I just can't wait to talk about my efforts to family and friends, and thanks to all of you, I can sound really professional!
I loved these phrases :
Yeah looks like type 2/ scalpings to me, nothing wrong with the base if it's been wacked but it must be blinded out, either with whin dust or sand.
I'm gonna tell 'em all that I made sure first that my base was wacked and blinded out, and of course used whin dust. That'll show 'em!!!
Thanks for all the info.
xx

Job for the weekend sorted!!
Still think dribbling in a mixture , is a mistake.0 -
