Seems so far away though, it's like 479 days - not that I'm counting :rotfl:
Haven't posted too much as not really much going on money wise other than the savings totals slowly creeping up...VSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0 -
Savings targets creeping up is always a good thing! Yay to booking Florida, I am hoping OH will get his butt in gear and agree to book our trip over the weekend, he doesn't believe me when I say that as we will be going in peak season places and seats on flights will soon start running out!
Very happily married on 10th April 2013

Right I'm back!!!!
Have decided I'm going to get back on track with this diary and use it to help me keep track of spending and saving.
I've updated my savings targets and totals. I removed the original savings target 1 which was £250 in time for my sister's wedding in August. The target was supposed to be to cover the hen night, a wedding present and the hotel for the night, but seing as things have being getting paid in bits and pieces it's a bit pointless saving for it when it's not needed.
New targets and details for a recap:
Target 1 - This is my ISA and I have no real reason for these savings (at the moment! Will hopefully be towards a wedding one day...) It's just a figure that I would like to reach.
Target 2 - This is my savings for our Florida trip next year, everything for the trip will come out of this fund, the holiday, park tickets and spending money. Although I will need to use this money at various points for deposits etc I'm still going to keep a running total to keep track of it all.
Another reason for getting the diary back on track is that I really feel I could be saving a lot more each month. By keeping track of all transactions it should enable me to put more money into the savings and hopefully meet (if not beat) my targets.
I plan to join the challenge on the up your income board for next month and will start off with Make £5 a Day in July - £155 total.
I'll only track incomings when they come into my account, not when they track, so for instance I won 35p on a free bingo game today but won't count that until it's in my account.
So today's outgoings:
£2.00 for dog classes tonight
Will need to go and get dog food too...
Today's incomings:
£7.74 from TopCashBack - has been added to Target 1VSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0 -
Ok so yesterday's final total's were...
Outgoings:
£19.04 - dog food for the next month
£2.12 - VSP, not technically an outgoing, but moved to Target 1
No outgoings so far today...hopefully it stays that way.
Oh and I won £11.35 on online bingo but not able to withdraw yet...:cool:VSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0 -

Not much happened over the weekend.
We paid some more of our Florida trip for next year.
I'm having to be really careful with my spending just now, I got an iPhone last weekend and had to pay towards the handset, the transaction was showing as pending on my account for a few days but has now disappeared completely...hasn't come off my account and isn't pending either - any ideas?!
Payday on Friday, but that makes it a 5 week month until the next payday so again will need to be really careful.
Had a small argument with my sister at the weekend, I paid something for her a couple of weeks ago because she had no cash on her and because I'm finding it a bit tight until Friday I mentioned the money, now it's only £8 and usually I would let it go. But she went mental, called me a mercinary and that could I not just let it go?! That's definately the last time I lend her money, you would think I would have learnt after the car eh?!
Not much to report money wise, just withdrawn £12.20 from online bingo but not in my account yet...VSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0
