I just suddenly lost interest in having a drink & more particularly ever going to the pub, when i turned 40 (not right on the day - just somewhere about then). Its partly to do with the waste of money i guess but mostly i dont even think of it. Still have a glass of wine if someone gives it to me unsolicited and had a few drinks on holiday just to let my liver know i am still here.
Good luck, it will be fine.....another happy bug.........sorry,blogger embracing the simple life0 -

I would be more than supportive (morally) if you were abstaining from the old conjugals for 100 days but God No! not the alcohol.
Day two......I am so much closer to being able afford decent toilet roll now...0 -

On second thoughts - No let's not start on that again!I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Alchohol or decent toilet roll? Am I the only sad one that would rather have the decent toilet roll? :rotfl:
Seriously I havent had a drink for about 15 years now, just dont like the taste thank god, and used to just drink to be sociable. Now I'd rather do something else.

On the subject of value toilet rolls (I know, I know I'm sorry) I've just bought a pack of 10 value ones from Aldi for £1.89 to try and they arent half bad. The next to try are the 12 asda value ones for £1.14...Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 126 :j
