As I was at it until 6am this morning, I assume I cannot be accused of being bitter & miserable? :p

On a serious note, you do blame everyone and everything other than you for everything that is wrong in your life. It is either the fault of the surgeon, your parents, the autism that all of your family seem to have ... Perhaps you should start taking responsibility yourself?

Thats the vibe I get, its the evil world that does everything to make her fail and nothing to do with her, no matter what is her fault.

Well obviously the fact that my parents abused me must of been my fault, I must of been really naughty & deserved the beatings.

I worked every weekend & school holiday from the age of 5 from 6am to 6pm obviously that was my fault too.

Was it my fault that ive had cancer twice or that I have asperger's.

Was it my fault that the father of my 2 sons having grownup in a kids home knowing how it felt to be abandoned then did the same to his kids as he didn't like responsibility.

Is it my fault that my surgeon didn't know what he was doing & fcuked up my surgery.

Is it my fault that i'm now depressed & on benefits.

Obviously that is a yes to all of the above but someone somewhere should of gave me some kind of counselling/therapy to be able to deal with my emotions & that is down to the NHS not me.

You have just proved my point - you blame everybody but yourself.

You need to start taking responsibility for your life. We have all had cr*p happen in our lives, but we have a choice as to whether we sit and accept the rubbish (and talk about it constantly), or do something about it. If you can't get therapy on the NHS, find a way to get it elsewhere ... and for goodness sake, go and get some real life friends, it will do you the world of good.
    Gone ... or have I?

    Seriously, what is my fault?

I've tried my best to be a good mum, a good daughter etc.

I can't believe that you all think it's ok to say such vile things to someone who is severely depressed don't you have any compassion?

It's people like you lot that stop me from leaving the house, why would I want to put myself in a position where people can hurt me.

My mother him me with a poker among other things but thats in the past and because of the way my mind works I can compartmentalise things, both good and bad.

I worked every weekend & school holiday from the age of 5 from 6am to 6pm obviously that was my fault too.

Wow I only managed form 11/12 to work and earn money.

Was it my fault that ive had cancer twice or that I have asperger's.

It isnt my fault either but thats the chuck of the draw and thats what we have to work with.

Was it my fault that the father of my 2 sons having grownup in a kids home knowing how it felt to be abandoned then did the same to his kids as he didn't like responsibility.

You had one kid before he chucked the dummy out, did you not get a clue at his mindset?

Is it my fault that my surgeon didn't know what he was doing & fcuked up my surgery.

He saved your life and I think no matter what he did you would be unhappy with it because of your mind set.

Is it my fault that i'm now depressed & on benefits.

Yes if your not doing anything and everything to help yourself and from your posts you refuse to help yourself/

Obviously that is a yes to all of the above but someone somewhere should of gave me some kind of counselling/therapy to be able to deal with my emotions & that is down to the NHS not me.

Its every problem but yourself BCS

He left when I was 36 weeks pregnant with our second child.

He got up one morning July 4th 1996 & said i'm not happy, I said leave then so he did & i've never seen or heard from him since.

I didn't work out of choice I had no choice.

I was stood on Finmere market in all weathers from the age of 3, at least you got paid.

I used to fall asleep in lesson cos I was so tired.

My sister's teacher was disgusted & threatened to report my mum & dad for child cruelty but apparently there is no law to protect children from being forced to work without breaks etc by their own parents.

Do you ever wonder if your son's problems with aggression etc might have something to do with the variety of 'Dads' they've had?

I mean this sincerely. My sons as teenagers would have been mortified if they had been confronted with the idea of me and their Dad making love. If I had brought different blokes in to share my bed I think it would really have affected them badly as impressionable teenagers.

Where have I said anything vile? I have not, I am just being honest with you. The problem is, you want people to tell you that your self pity is ok, but it really is not healthy.

Your complete unwillingness to let go of the past and move forward is your fault. As I said before, we all have cr*p in our lives, but we also all have the option to move forward. You are choosing not to take this option.

sh1305, I hope you don't mind me quoting you as an example, but when you first came on MSE (in whichever guise!) you really felt sorry for yourself. You were unwilling to listen to suggestions as to how you could improve things, and you expected everyone else to adapt because of your problems. Sorry, I don't mean to be harsh, but you were a pain! ;) However (and to the point of the story!), although you have clearly had a cr*ppy year, you have turned things around and you are doing so much more to help yourself.

BCS, sh1305 is half your age, yet is so much more positive about things and is being proactive in improving her own situation. I don't see what is stopping you doing the same?

(sh1305, please don't think I'm having a go - I mean what I have said in a very positive way, I'm just not sure it comes across like that? :o )
