Atlantic or Npower?
Both Atlantic Electric & Gas [internet Tariff No standing charge] and Npower Sign online SOL6 are showing as being the best for me to switch to.
As both indicate I'll save the same amount of money if I change, which one should I switch to?
Is one due for a price increase or have they both done that already?
I'm currently with Powergen Online and have no idea of Atlantic or Npower.
Any advice appreciated

AFAIK Atlantic haven't increased their prices since 1 Jan. npower SOL6 rate is new tariff as of 25 Aug. Both have similar discount scheme in that you get a rebate after 12 months.0

Thanks for that, Matto.
There's a chance then that Atlantic could well increase their prices, so perhaps npower would be the safer bet?0 -
npower would probably be the safer bet although they can be a bit sneaky with their price rises and the SOL tariffs are designed to get you to sign up and after a while they're increased. But as this tariff has just been released it would be my preference.0

As npower increased there prices recently its probably safer to go with them, but you cannot be completely sure0

atlantic increased prices on 1 may but according to the letter i have here they promise not to increase prices again in 20060

I suggest you flip a coin.0

Thanks everyone for your input. Reckon I'll go with npower for now.
I can always switch again.0 -
How much are you saving on your bills by going to npower - Powergens Online tariff for gas and elec with Monthly Direct Debit should be showing 11 - 12% per qtr. If your only getting a one off amount with npower it could work out more costly.0

Gal, you've totally lost me!
I dont know about a one off amount or percentages per quarter.
I went to all the comparison sites again to double check.
According to Uswitch I'd save £145.55 and Energylinx says I'll save £146.26 if I change to npower.
UKpower's figures say that the secondary unit rate for gas is much cheaper than Powergen.
Npower's electricity primary and secondary are both cheaper.
My head's spinning after all this lot :eek:0
