Please try the new telepathic FAQ about PPC issues.
Simply think of the question you have about PPCs, now focus and try to project that question onto the screen in front of you.
Done that? Great.
Wait a few seconds, whilst I receive your question, now here's my answer to the question.......
Telepathic FAQ says.................Ignore, ignore, ignore.
This works with any question you care to try, go on test it.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -
seems to me as the letter you received wasnt sent by recorded delivery, you could just assume you never receveived it.
dihonest i know, but no one has been hurt or inconvenianced so just put all communications in the bin!0 -

So it is an old thread, was there any necessity for that comment.0 -
Popped into my local Aldi this evening after coming from another supermarket after forgetting to get a few items. There was torrential rain and with the car park being practically empty I decided to park in one of the parent child bays nearer to the entrance. After I had paid for the items instore the store assistant was handing all customers a leaflet with regards to change of parking regulations for the car park belonging to the store (I hadn't noticed this coming into the car park) On the leaflet there were conditions on which they can fine you including a time restriction of 90 minutes, parking within marked bays, parking for parents with toddlers and blue badge holders. The company on the leaflet was called ParkingEye. I was completely dumbstruck as I hadn't seen any parking regulations in the car park before so I decided to go and speak to a store assistant and they mentioned that they had been in during the day putting signs and cameras up but they reckoned the cameras were not quite live but maybe tomorrow or the day after. This still hasn't reassured me as reading the posters above they sound like a bogus company and can still issue a ticket if they so wish and harass you for quite a while still worse still I was in a friends car who doesn't even live in the same town and the icing on the cake is that I normally walk there as it's walking distance from where I live so getting into this bother is just sod's law.
Does anyone reckon they will send my friend a ticket and harass them for payment for this even though installed the signs and cameras today and the fact that the store assistant reckoned that they won't have gone live just yet.
Any assurances would be greatly appreciated as a £70 fine seems excessive for violating the conditions they have stated in their leaflet (mentioned above)0 -
You seem to be taking these clowns far too seriously. For a start it's not a FINE, it's an invoice that can be ignored. Don't forget they they are not the police or the council, but a private company with no more right than you or me to demand money off people. As for the letters that might arrive, just treat them as you would any other junk mail. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Thanks Trisontana, You're right that I am probably taking these guys too seriously. Still it's my friend who may end up with this bother (letters of this nature really stress him) I'd rather he did not even receive any letters from these clowns. Just hope that the store assistant is 100% correct and that since they have started to put up these today that they won't have gone live at the same time. Mt friend could do without the bother and myself with the guilt of putting him into this hassle.
I know I should stop digging but does anyone know how these cameras work? Are they CCTV cameras that monitor your every move in the car park etc?0
