    Good read though!
Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

My son has just told me that he's thinking of leaving home and going to live in Kingston. I told him about all the fine letting agents there are and IRD Homes.

    You're welcome!

IRD Homes seem to have a Scottish branch now: Advertising properties.. e.g.
    http://www.irdhomes.co.uk/Glasgowharbour.html
but, bizarrely, they seem to have forgotten to list the landlord registration numbers... Oh dear, fines for not complying with regulations can be large.

I assume they have passed the "fit & proper" test for landlords....:rotfl:

    Brilliant thread!
Interesting to see that IRD homes..... are
ranked 12049 out of 12112 in the UK
In the interests of accuracy & currency, may I note that today it is reported..
    http://www.allagents.co.uk/ird-homes/
This firm is ranked 12983 out of 13055 in the UK
    Some mistake, surely?

There appear to be 2 companies currently active who's names start "IRD Home..." (nothing wrong with that), one has share capital of £2, the other £10: Please don't take my word for that, check with companies house..

Regarding one person who is named as director of one of them...
Directorships: 1 appointments at 1 active companies: 5 resigned appointments: 19 appointments at 19 dissolved companies:
    The record speaks for itself

I think we should applaud them.
Previously they were ranked in the bottom 0.52% They have now improved significantly to only be in the bottom 0.55%

Congratulations and keep up the good work.

Seems IRD homes has branches at
    and they are now

    ranked 13625 out of 13684

so if I work it out correctly, sadly they have slipped and are now in the bottom 0.4%.

    They keep trying though!
I'm sure Sunil/Sunny Dhowns and Richard Selby are really hard-working guys.

  • Hello all, real-life friend of OP here! Since we just passed the 5th anniversary of the thread I thought I would say a big thank you to everyone who continues to contribute to this amazing thread which has gone far beyond anything anyone could have imagined. OP and his gf have been reading the entire time and they are just so delighted at the enthusiasm with which the MSE community has embraced the thread. Your humour, and ultimately your love of IRD homes, may well have saved them from mental breakdown, during a very stressful time in their lives.

    Cheers everyone!
