I can't believe that the schools finish for Summer in 3 weeks
Me neither. I am actually a wee bit sad that DS will be leaving nursery. It's such a happy place and the staff are lovely. Mind you I felt like this about pre school so perhaps I am just a soppy moo. Will be skint over the summer but I am looking forward to a bit of quality time with just me and the kids
Not much to report. Yet another busy day ahead. Reception visit this afternoon for an hour, soft play this morning. I seem to have appointments or stuff schedule between now and the end of term
I cleaned the downstairs windows yesterday with my mini squeegee from Lakeland and it was fab!!! Just need to clean the rest of the house :rotfl: I've not helped my mum at all yet with DD's birthday cake. I fear it will be completely made by my mumwhich wasn't my intention but each afternoon I seem to have committments.
Tea tonight is BBQ chicken.
That's about it. Have a lovely day OS or not. Hugs to those that need them.
JackieO - Happy birthday to your DGD
Hilstep - Hugs for you xxxx
nmlc - ooooh what sort of new caravan have you got? I am so sad I am turning into a caravan geek:rotfl:

Good Morning All
I didn't sleep very well last night. tons of emotions running thru my head.
My cousin gave birth to a baby boy y'day afternoon. My sister also went in the hospital to be induced, despite the baby being 3 weeks early, she is having some complications - as of yet - no news of the new arrival.
Vets last night - the cat is fine, but sadly my dog has possibly got breast cancer, the vet found a lump around her nipples, quite large. I feel guily that I did notice it, but just thought it was her old age spread! She goes in next week for it to be removed aswell as being sterilised. She is nearly 11 and with a heart murmur, I just hope she pulls through.
Last night plans of dinner etc totally went out the window, we had chinese instead.
OH working late again later.
Hillstep - hope the vertigo soon passes - its not nice. Hope your cat is not seriously injured!
Jackie - Happy Birthday to DGD
Hope everyone is well, must dash, running late this morning
Take care
Love Em x

Afternoon,
Weather very changable today so having an inside day.
Been to the gym and now the SC is on with some soup in it for later.
Dishes done and I may just do a quick sweep of the house to tidy up.
Not much else on today, may do some school prep later but apart from that it's a quiet one.
Had a surprise in the post yesterday, we got a cheque through from our Solicitor who had been dealing with our house purchase last year. It was a refund of charges that we had to pay at the time:T I am over the moon as it was 3 figures so I promptly popped in the bank this morn. :A Totally out of the blue!
Anyway have a nice day all xxSpreading the gospel that is Martin Lewis to the future generation....I'm a Home Economics Teacher and being thrifty is the way!:A0 -

Vets are so expensive, I just do not know where I would find money if anything needed done for our dog.
Hope your dad is ok and hope you are okTOTAL 44 weeks lose. 6st 9.5lb :T0 -

Hope your dad is ok and hope you are ok
unfortunately Im looking at least £400 for my dog's treatment next week, thats just an average quote so far, Im waiting for the vet to ring with more details re cost. I have to stump up with the money first, then hopefully claim it back from the pet insurance.
Without the insurance, I would be in **** creek. But regardless of the cost, I would have to beg, steal or borrow to make sure she is ok. Things we do hey!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
Hiya everyone,
to everyone who is down, upset or having a bad time - hope you feel better/ see light at the end of the rainbow soon xx
Done school run and been to tots with DS2, its his last full week of tots next week as the schools finish and he starts pre school in september. Trying to save a little for the summer hols as days out seem so expensive, luckily the boys enjoy the park and the museum which are free!(Swimming costs £10 as we have too pay for adults). OH has two weeks off during school hols so were at pontins for 5 days then it will be days out. Have some friends who some how manage to go to camelot, gullivers world, the zoo etc each week with their kids and dont find it expensive, sure they pop it all on a credit card or 2! We are not using our cards as we need to clear the debt, like I say were lucky the boys love picnics and kicking a ball around the park.
Probably make shepherds pie for tea, boys both full of cold so dont expect them to eat much!
lovely day here, theres a breeze and its not baking hot - just nice.
take care xxMum, wife and dinnerlady!0
