Just for anyone else trying to phone up and get one, they're now out of stock. Waited in the queue for 20minutes to be told that, and that they have no idea when they're likely to get anymore in - "I suggest you just be patient, Sir"

I have -FINALLY- managed to get a 32GB iPhone 4 from a Tesco store, after loads of time and effort over the last week. They only had 4 in though, so I effectively took 25% of their stock - Absurd! From what I can establish, most stores only had about 4 in but apparently they're expecting more (another 4) in the next week or so. I've got to say the way Tesco have handled this leaves a lot to be desired!

Good luck to anyone trying to get one through Tesco! It's difficult and time-consuming, but it can be done!

I took, passport, bank statement and copy of my job contract as I'm just about to start a job, but they didn't check anything.

She only used my bank statement to get account number and sort code to input into system.

I think their supposed to check ID, so I would take driving license/passport. (And bank details if you don't know them)

Hi newbie here, hope someone can help me! I bought the iphone4 with Tesco over the phone on Wed, got it on Friday but I'm a little confused re: their phone bills that I can view on-line! They told me I need to check on the Tesco Mobile page for how many minutes / internet mbs I've used but everything, including the phone calls, are shown as "Volume" - like units? And it also shows the cost of every call and every GPRS I've used and but the charge is 0.00. Does anyone else have any experience with this so they can enlighten me? Lol! (So since it's normally £4/mb, if I use my full 1gb it would show the cost as £4000?!!)

    Thanks in advance!

Ok, this is a stupid question but do they do a credit check? From the look of it they don't, I'd like to find out as I've got the kind of bank account that you can't do a credit check on.

Robt's right but to be fair, all companies will want a credit check for a contract, thats not specific to Tesco here. PAYG they just need need the cash.
