Happy birthday Luc!!
Sal-wassup??
Well I broke the bad news to our friends daughter re lack of RR for her prom, and it wasn't too bad...her friends have been banned from attending by the school anyway (something to do with colouring their hair-it's a very strict school),so she won't be letting them down, and I offered her the use of our little red car (much better, matches her red dress) which has the added advantage of being a teenage boy puller-their tongues hang out when they see it,so not too bad then...

Any of you know much about sewing machines? I want to get a cheap one to do a few things round the house like basic chair covers and cushion covers, would also like to be able to do nice neat trouser hems as mine are always falling down (the hems not my trousers)! I've been lusting after the lovely pastel coloured John Lewis ones for £50 but I think they might be a bit lightweight.. some people have told me to either spend more, or go for a good second hand one instead.. any thoughts?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
