yes i know what you mean, yes it does have a faint odd smell. its hard to describe! its the only chanel foundation i have at the mo so i cant really compare im afraid.

But i do find with expensive designer foundations they have a very faint smell, estee lauder ones are the same. I really love max factor second skin, really really good for my oily skin, matches my colour perfectly, no smell and a good price!
