LittleBill wrote:I used this one today MBN ... It went through but I think it had to be entered manually ... I tend to look away and whistle while they're being scanned ... :rotfl:
I know what you mean LittleBill, I'm an expert in looking away... and I also blush. I turn red, oh sooo red.
Many thanks for your replies. :T So the experience is mixed: some of you were lucky, some were less lucky with this coupon. I'll give it a try on Friday, hopefully the coupon will go through.'Into every abyss I still bear the blessing of my affirmation' (Friedrich Nietzsche)0 -
Dormouse wrote:Hi MBN, :hello:
I've currently got a 3 for £1 subscription for Essentials (it was a really good offer as it wasn't just 3 for £1, but you got a free gift of posh Tigi shampoo and conditioner worth £18 with it - not sure if this offer is still ongoing - I subscribed some time in Nov/Dec, I think).
Anyhoo, I've only had one mag so far, and I've never bought it before so my opinion is based on just the one issue, but I'd say for 33p it's not bad. My issue came with a freebie clutch bag sort of thing, which is nice as not all subscription mags come with free gifts, like the shop copies.
There were no coupons in the mag, but it was an ok read. I thought it was all going to be about shopping and fashion, but there were a few articles as well. All in all, it's okay, I wouldn't go out and buy it for the normal price, but for 33p it's fine.
HTH a bit
Many thanks for the detailed info Dormouse. You did find an excellent subscription offer - well done. :T'Into every abyss I still bear the blessing of my affirmation' (Friedrich Nietzsche)0 -

olympian wrote:Tried one in a Tescos at the weekend and the till "beeped" to refuse it. I think it's because the flyer is in the latest Tesco magazine so Tesco treat it as one of their own "known" coupons and refuse unless product is purchased.
No luck for me either. Shame as there was loads loose in the magazine pallet_____________________________________________

I managed to use one of the Lindt 30p bunny coupons in Asda today, was well pleased after several no-goes at Tesco. This was at a manned till. And I picked up quite a few of the flyers with coupons from around the magazine bin in Tesco the other day, so have got loads of the coupons to use up
. Perhaps this is a goer as well at Waitrose? Anyone tried yet?

It was me that reported the other day that the Lindt bunny coupon would not scan in Tesco. And I had scooped up quite a few of them that day from around the Tesco mag bin as well! But today I ended up in Asda buying a few things and handed over a few coupons to scan and the bunny was accepted! And the £5 Nicotinell one as well, the one from the Asda mag, was my first time to try that one. I was pleasantly surprised. HTH. BTW the Inside Out coupon would not scan, I got handed that one back.
hi there glad the $5 voucher worked for you.
did you buy the product?
how much did you spend?
