Heat magazine 20-26 January 2007, Jamie Oliver and Britney Spears on the cover, costs £1.65.
25p off Nestle Fitness cereal bars variety pack. NCH barcoded, expires 30/10/07.
Not a very big one I know, but useful if you buy the mag anyway.
Edit: 25p off not 23p - sorry!Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.0 -

I know it's on the first post, but couldn't see any mention of the freebie notebook (choice of pink or purple) - pocket diary sized, quite pretty fabric cover and plain pages.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -
Hello everyone, :hello:
Slightly off topic (I know - sorry about that): I've noticed that there is a 3 for £1 offer for Essentials magazine on the 'Magazine offers' thread (the 'Shop but Don't Drop' board). If I remember correctly, some of you buy this magazine, of get it on subscription. I was thinking about taking out the 3 for £1 offer, but I don't know if it's worth it. Does this magazine usually come with 'extras' - namely freebies or coupons? Is it worth reading?
Please let me know what you think of it. Thank you :A'Into every abyss I still bear the blessing of my affirmation' (Friedrich Nietzsche)0 -
And on another note, has anyone used the Lindt coupon (from Tesco magazine) yet (I haven't)? According to posters on another forum, this coupon doesn't seem to scan.'Into every abyss I still bear the blessing of my affirmation' (Friedrich Nietzsche)0

I used this one today MBN ... It went through but I think it had to be entered manually ... I tend to look away and whistle while they're being scanned ... :rotfl:
I picked up 2 more magazines on the way out too ... and a couple of loose Lindt flyers together with some others which were on the floor ... Health & Safety nightmare  ... on a serious note ... heaven forbid somebody should slip on them ... we have an invisible cleaner at our Tescon's ... the trolley is always there ... but no one driving .... ?LittleBill ... Hi there -
It was me that reported the other day that the Lindt bunny coupon would not scan in Tesco. And I had scooped up quite a few of them that day from around the Tesco mag bin as well! But today I ended up in Asda buying a few things and handed over a few coupons to scan and the bunny was accepted! And the £5 Nicotinell one as well, the one from the Asda mag, was my first time to try that one. I was pleasantly surprised. HTH. BTW the Inside Out coupon would not scan, I got handed that one back.

Ok,
Going to go to WH Smith and get a few copies of The Times along with a few magazines for only a £1 each.
Today's Times has a coupon:
TIMES........moc £1 Inside Out exp 31.01.07......p59
I will also use the current WH Smith points voucher, which will take £2 off if I spend £5: http://www.whsmith.co.uk/whs/vouchers/bonus_voucher_CS2007.htm
What are the best 3 magazines to buy at the moment - for coupons/promotions/freebies?
thanks in advance!I :heart2: Waitrose0 -

I've currently got a 3 for £1 subscription for Essentials (it was a really good offer as it wasn't just 3 for £1, but you got a free gift of posh Tigi shampoo and conditioner worth £18 with it - not sure if this offer is still ongoing - I subscribed some time in Nov/Dec, I think).
Anyhoo, I've only had one mag so far, and I've never bought it before so my opinion is based on just the one issue, but I'd say for 33p it's not bad. My issue came with a freebie clutch bag sort of thing, which is nice as not all subscription mags come with free gifts, like the shop copies.
There were no coupons in the mag, but it was an ok read. I thought it was all going to be about shopping and fashion, but there were a few articles as well. All in all, it's okay, I wouldn't go out and buy it for the normal price, but for 33p it's fine.
HTH a bit0
