I wish I knew that too. I used to subscribe to Marie Claire, and they always sent me the free gifts. Meanwhile, I didn't get any free gifts from Delicious magazine (such as extra recipe booklets - I remember I didn't get one I really wanted to get, and was very upset because of this ). Eve magazine also seems to send out free gifts to subscribers (got the No7 mascara - very happy bunny :j).

Maybe other MSErs know differently, and can tell us more about their own experiences in this regard.

UPDATE: went into Body Shop today - they're giving out vouchers for £5 off £20 or more spend, which do say "not valid in conjunction with any other offer". I was told they can be used in conjunction with the 'Love your Body' membership card, but haven't tried.

I subscribe to PRIMA and they don't send the free gifts to subscribers. They're only available if you pay full price for the mag at newsagents etc. But you do get the pattern which non-subscribers have to send for and cost £1 I think.

I now have getting on for 2 years worth of patterns which I have no use for. Perhaps I'll sort them out and flog 'em on e-bay :rotfl:
