    Hello zippybungle ...

I assume you talking to me! ... as Robert De Niro would say ....

I applied for this sub yesterday on the links stated in my previous post .... I already have a £1 for 3 Issues on She but you can cancel at anytime if you are 'not satisfied' ... and they give you a date ... normally just after your second issue ... whereupon you do not go on to the normal Direct Debit and your subscription stops .... but remember to also cancel this Direct Debit at your own bank ... just so nothing goes astray and messages cross ....

My £1 for 3 issues sub runs Dec/Jan/Feb ... I will need to cancel this subscription in Early December when I get my second Issue ...

I have started the 'Lindt Chocolates/12 for £12' subscription in March 2007 ... and I think you could choose up until May 2007 to start in the drop down box .... and still get the chocs now I assume!

I received a email to say that my payment will be taken in January ... £12 ... so I intend to cancel the Direct Debit straight away after it has gone out so I don't forget and they take another at full price in a years time ...

    Hope this Helps ....

PS ... I have just rang them to check ... you should get your chocs within 28 days for taking out the sub ... and once your payment of £12 leaves your account you can cancel the direct debit and the sub will simply run itself out ... they will send you a reminder but if there is no Direct Debit set up they cannot continue it .... hope this is the definitive!

Dec Instyle - no great offers only
P130 there is a fashion file insert - House of fraser page has Instyle fashion workshops at London, Glasgow, Manchester, with free goodie bags and drinks. ( Can't see any mention of cost, so may be free?) If you go to these you also get 20% off fashion and 10% off beauty.

    Hope that makes sense!

Many thanks for the info carray. :T

Got my copy of InStyle magazine today - not very impressed to say the least, has got loads of advertising, and it is definitely not my kind of magazine. Just to add a bit of info which may be important to those of you who are into skincare samples collecting. On page 191, there is an Origins advert, which reads: 'Visit your local Origins stockist and take home an irresistible sample of new Ginger Rush Intensely hydrating body cream'. :j

    Hope someone finds this useful.

I'll update first post tomorrow morning. ;)

  • December Company mag has a free Warehouse evening bag and 20% off at Warehouse.
  • I have checked the front page and whilst scanning the threads a couple of days ago I saw a post about Christmas baubles/decorations which were obtainable via a voucher from a magazine I believe. The voucher was redeemable at M&S

Does anyone remember which magazine or point me to the thread, I have done a search but cannot find it. Thanking you Welshy x

Hi Welshy, sorry I don't know the one you mean so can't help with that!

But I have just seen this post by LilacLillie on Bob's:

On page 58 of the new Asda free mag, there is a voucher for 50p off uniball pens.
    Ex: 31/12/06. Not store specfic.

I haven't been and got any copies yet so I don't know if Asda has dared to print another sheet of the usual Asda-specific vouchers at the back, following their spectacular mistake last month! But it's worth picking up some copies just for a free 50p voucher innit? Must be the November Magazine.

EDIT!! 3.11.06 THIS has just been posted on Bob's about this voucher, who wants to be the first to check at Tesco (where they won't know about it yet)?!

Tried to use this in Asda today and it took £4.50 off my shopping, eagle eyed cashier spotted it immediatley and cancelled it off and gave me it back saying she couldn't take that much as it was only a £30 shop.

A bit like deja-vu, as I see that the voucher in this week's Woman magazine has already been mentioned, but the same voucher is in Woman's Own, p26.

    EDIT 3/11/06

Just read my magazine and found another coupon! 50p off Dulcoease (post-it note type coupon) on page 51.

So that's a total of £1.10 in coupons in Woman's Own (6 Nov, on sale till then).
