    Good news.

But did they apologise for their previous "point blank" refusals, and their unfair and unenforceable policy condition?

This may be the case, but me personally, I would not be happy making a claim if I had no MOT.

Now armed with new knowledge via the help from this forum, I will doubt you will not make a claim if you happen to come into the OP situation one day. It's all words on this forum, some are FACTS, others are opinions or wrong knowledge. ;)

I'll hold my hands up and admit I was wrong. I firmly believed that no MoT = no insurance.

I wish all the best to george :)

Excellent news george-s2, hopefully everyone lied to by their insurers will find this thread and start the process to prove their insurer wrong.

Congratulations george, thanks for updating us and confirming that no MOT = no insurance is an urban myth.
