George! This thread is full of advice on what to do.
You have been given their first line of defence, but just progress as is advised earlier in the many posts in the thread. (Though do it in writing, don't bother with your pm to Tom!)
And move to new insurers at your first opportunity!0 -

they rang me today and i told them about obdusman rulling no 13 roadworthiness, but they are saying that in they terms and conditions clearly saying no MOT no payment. and that i did signed it so i agreed to it.
i told them that i will take them to court.
what they saying they will return car to me and NOT going to pay!0 -
Have you been reading the advice given to you?

i'm going to write a letter to them today, but how can it be different answer from them what they allready told me on the phone?
and to be honest what exactly to write them, about obdusman rule?
sorry if that sounds wrong but i'm not an expert on this.0 -
Never heard about 1st Central insurance before!
Now I understand why as well. They are rubbish (as seen in this thread) so nobody should buy from them.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0
