Evening everyone :hello:
I'm in again and will try harder this week...will still only be level 1s as I don't seem to manage much more than that of an evening, and need to do a HHI every night I think as I feel like I'm surrounded by unironed clothes. Didn't really get round to catching up with last weeks thread but please take your happy birthdays/ hugs / congratulations as required. I feel a bit rubbish and low tonight as not done anything (apart from washing to create all the ironing) all weekend/last week really, but probably just cause I'm tired and can't believe it's back to work already tomorrow knowing its going to be a very busy week. I have spent most of my day today at my sisters looking after her though and that is more important than doing stuff around the house, but has prob contributed to tiredness. Early night tonight I think, but first thanks to all in flylady central for this week's thread.0 -
Count me in, thanks everyone. If it is a 2008 list I probably did it then. Does that mean I don't have to now?
I'm in again; and just in case I'm 'orribly late posting tomorrow, a very Happy Birthday to Pigpen's DD1.
My thanks as always to Flylady Central Command.
We've decluttered omelettes made by Mr LW, and he's done a complete hoover of the bungalow.:A I'm exhausted after being out all day, and am still clearly somewhat run down (as witness the 'orrible mouth ulcers, and now eczema in awkward places) so I'll deffo be pacing myself this week.
Ah, he's finished hoovering and is wanting us to play Dragon Age Origins; I'll keep him company at that for a bit, and hope to persuade him to hit the sack reasonably earlyso I'll bid you all a very good night.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Scary gadget man owns a laser heat tester that you point at the middle of the pan and it tells you how hot it is so I didnt get to play with saucers.
Yeah I remember this list and I definitely did it all.
I want a gadget - don't even have a meat thermo and as you know the AGA doesn't have a temp gauge either
I'll be here, busy old week, I'll do a list once I get grotbags to sleep and the ironing done. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

I'll be around from Friday afternoon, and before, if I can make it. Thank you to everyone involved in the thread. First priority is still work, looking after myself and the dailies - anything else is a bonus.
Don't know what was up with me yesterday - either a bad case of PMT or a visit from a black puppy. I was alternating between wicked witch of the west and 'what's the point of anything, anyway'.
Toots/LW - thank you for asking. Either my mouth is still sore from the exctraction or there is a second tooth playing up, so I'm keeping up with painkillers and antibiotics. I have some nice 600mg ibuprofen which we got for DS1's ear infection in Spain last year. It'll be fine and didn't stop me from (carefully) scoffing roast pork/stuffing/gravy sarnies followed by fresh strawberries and cream.
toochoosey - you could try something along the lines of 'Could I just talk to you about last Friday? I've had time to think over the weekend and I wonder if there was a misunderstanding...'
triker - I know you've got a busy week ahead, but could I trouble you for that cherry and almond sponge recipe, please?
hex - for a cheap cherry stoner, my nan pushed some kind of hair pin into a wine cork. The u-shaped end got the stones out quite nicely, but not without mess. Not sure I've explained it well.
OK, for tonight:
water plants
emtpy/re-load DW
last load into WM
sort stuff for tomorrow, including ironing a couple of items
programme some stuff into sky+ (I always miss stuff I want to see)
type up some lists for work
put leftovers in fridge
Hope everyone has a good week and hugs to those who are having a rough time. x0 -
Thanks as usual for the lists and all.

Other than 'there will be a whole lot more problems if you end up down another dinner lady because I've walked out'? [if only it were possible IRL], go above that person's head 'I'm really worried, x told me off because... and I was frightened from what they said - it made the think I'm going to be sacked when it wasn't my fault/I didn't feel it was right to respond in that situation...'
It's inappropriate for someone to tell you off if they have no understanding of your responsibilities.
And the best way for dealing with cherries?
Pop 'em into your mouth.
Then try to get the stones as far away from you as possible. Horrifies the children who don't think you would ever do something as gross/naughty as cherry stone spitting.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
