    yes like moodle

(I knows this because I googled moodle!)

it's RM's one, and being rolled out in Derbyshire...

I have changed all their usernames to slightly more sensible (as is wielding admin power lol) even though support at County told me the ONLY way to do is was to change the info on the school MIS (Management information system) well it wasn't I am an admin and I can do it on there mine own self muhahahahaha
and downloaded ther passwords for them (which I have the power to change!) so the plan is to explain what it is, show them a bit of what it can do and then lead them gently into a task or two to familiarise themselves with it. Now all this I should have done last night really but I found something better to do! ;)

    Bleurghhhhhhhhhh

    I haven't met a VLE that I didn't hate yet.

and [STRIKE]Muddle[/STRIKE] Moodle is one of the worst...

The idea is OK, but the actual using of them is detestable......

[ETA: but I bet your one is perfect (creep, creep)]

    Not Moodle:eek:
Not much experience of it, but it will be used by the OU in the future and those of us who love FirstClass are getting really worried (those with experience of Moodle are even more worried)
  • I'm really liking it. Sets me homework on it, marks it online, shows them the screen showing who hasn't done the homework.

Why is we talking like Gollum, me preciousssss??
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Mine are already on there and have been for the last two years.

Which was rubbish, as there was no way of communicating with anyone other than the 3 or 4 people that could be bothered to use it in my tutorial group. Which didn't include the tutor. Which was complete pants for the coursework which required online collaboration with at least 8 people. No way of finding or contacting anyone else on the course, which, as I tend to go to tutorials in more than one region, is also a nightmare, as the tutors post to their own area and have to go through around 3 people to get a message to anyone outside their group.

There is no way of picking the brains of anyone else who has already done a course, asking anything about the organisation/procedures, even how to sort computer problems - as you probably know, the OU have employed (at vast expense) someone from Microsoft as their computer boss, so the only access to mac support is via the First Class Fora.

and then they have the cheek to advertise how popular their iTunes downloads are!!!!!

FC Client may be cranky, but it is so much better for actually talking with people.

Am sat on me bum watching tv just now but OH will be back from squash in half an hour so whilst he's in the bath (no shower) I'll attack the kitchen (it needs it :o).

Also need to make my lunch for tomorrow and meal plan and iron clothes for this week (spent sunday eve when I was going to iron, up the hospital seeing OH's niece).

Just watching Clean House as I need some extra decluttering inspiration to clear some of my wardrobe out! :D

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
