I'm really liking it. Sets me homework on it, marks it online, shows them the screen showing who hasn't done the homework.

Why is we talking like Gollum, me preciousssss??

Well, that made me laugh out loud!

Interesting day at school - decided to try a drama activity with my lower set Year 8, acting out the French Revolution. Not sure how long it will take the art dept (on the floor below) to recover from the storming of the Bastille....;):D
At least I'm pretty sure they've grasped the motivation behind the revolution. I'm contemplating demonstrating the finer points of the guillotine the next time they are not 'engaged' (ie too busy catching up with gossip, eating and texting...)

I have cooked dinner and washed up. Oh, and I cleaned the bathroom last night at about 9.30pm as it was so filthy I couldn't bear it.

    to pigpen's DD.

DS1 is teaching me how to do pretty pics on here, so there may well be a few more appearing...;)

I'll be in tomorrow - hopefully finishing the final foothills of the washing himalaya, and sorting the kitchen.

LameWolf I saw your comment on the last thread:rotfl: you are ok its just r*ts that i have an aversion to!!! Sorry to here about your mouth ulcers - have you tried Difflam - that's what I was given when my mouth was bad during the chemo. There is also a pink one but i cant remember what its called and it tastes horrible!

Aunty sorry to hear about the battery -hope thats the last of your expenses for a long while!
hex that's brilliant - I will be keeping everything crossed for sales and orders:T:T:T
longtermlurker - you have done well today - good for you:T:T - just a little tip - don't put too many things on your extras list - be very realistic as to what you will achieve - if you list too many you might get down-heartened if you don't complete them all - better to have just a small amount and do them all (you can always find another extra if you get through a list!!!)

have managed some of my own Monday things but not enough from the main list to post yet...

Ive had a fab weekend and been properly spoiled, and had loved spending time with my family. Some went home on Sunday, and my Brother and his girlfriend went home today with my nephew, as did my mum.

I had the day off today so after I packed the family off and then had a bath, face pack and pampered myself all day. :D I can cross that off my list this week, but thats about it.

I shifted a couple of tonnes of limestone so we can get to the forge and anvil so DH has been blacksmithing and welding today. We have booked a stall at the school fair, starting small but at least it is a step in the right direction.

We will make this loss of job into a positive event or expire trying .

DW, WM and TD on, and I must iron. Kitchen is a tip, but it smells nice and jammy.

DH wants to have a go at blacksmithing :T Does your DH do commissions?

I made strawberry jam today, and it put me in mind of the joke:

Valli and Bob Marley were out for afternoon tea. "Bob" says Valli "what's your favourite doughnut?"

"Jamin" says Bob. "I've bought one for you too, Valli - I hope you like Jamin' too"

Well just done nearly two hours cleaning, lunch making, emptying dishwasher and putting things back in their rightful place.

so my list of things left to do is:

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Area
    Level One

    Sweep, vacuum and mop floors

Coz we have a frost free freezer, coz I did the medicine cupboard last month, and coz now it's a bit late to vacuum as we live in a flat. ;)
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?
