Am just sitting down for 5 mins at the end of my 3/4HC - am making some progress, but not really in the right direction. Must be firm, now....

    Still, I have:

    * Inspected the fridge and found 3 desperately broken eggs (yes: DH took the shopping in from Sainsbury's end of last week and dropped the carrier with two boxes of eggs in it...) and two desperately wrinkled lemon halves (you know when the skin is rock-hard, but the inside is still juicy if you cut the end off...)

    * So I made a lemon and blackberry drizzle cake...which is in the oven now

    * And I found 1 large sprouting onion and two red wrinkly peppers and a pack of chicken pieces we were going to eat last night, but got in too late to cook...

    * So that's gone in the oven as well, and will soon have a jar of red Thai curry sauce poured over it. Dinner sorted!

So I'm making progress on the fridge item of Pigpen's list, which I forgot to say "Thanks very much" for when I logged on earlier.

Dishwasher is on with all the cooking utensils/bowls in it, and I've cleared away all the flour etc, so I've got no excuse now and will have to go and clean the rest of the kitchen. :o

Off I go, chasing Longtermlurker & AnW'sMum - will stop at 1:00pm for a break, I think. Catch me if you can!

    MissH

Well you normally buy them in liquid form then freeze them. Little tubes of juice , cola , strawberry etc. They charge £1 for them at the caravan site I can but 100 here for that price. Just looked at a box in the freezer they say freezepops on them if that makes more sense:D

    Ice pops :j

In my latest HHC, I got sidetracked by my garden :D We have a bunny guest, so I've chatted to him, and we shared some strawberries ;) The rest of the strawbs are picked (to jam this pm), weeding done, pottering about :D

I've prepared a curry, to cook when I get in from work tomorrow. Going to have lunch then see what else needs doing :)

    Well that was better.

    Emptied and washed two bins
    Dealt with the post
Put a load of clothes away
Walked up and down stairs loads to get all this lot done!
Dumped a load of clothes on W's bed  he was [strike]told[/strike] asked to fold some clothes that were on the floor in a heap and place them on his chair. What did he do? Yup he shoved them in a scrunch in a drawer, so they are now on his bed and he WILL fold them after school :D

Lunch now and then I shall start again, anyone joining me at 1.30?
