Old dog isn't very well..:( am thinking we might need to make that hard decision soon. We've had her for over 14 years.. can't bear to think that we might not have her for very much longer. She's not in any pain, thanks to the meds, but her legs are going, and her appetite, which has always been really really good (ie she could scrounge for England) seems to have gone. Will be cooking some chicken (my dogs never get chicken!) today to see if we can get her meds down her that way.

ugh.. work first though. Then trip to vets. Then flying.

I hope she will be better later. When our dog started to take days to eat her food we bought some Chappie and she has a quarter of a tin mixed in with her James Wellbeloved dry food. The tablet and medicines disappear in with that very easily and she really enjoys it. Can't recommend the fishy breath though!

    Morning all

I did the kitchen/diner yesterday so I've just S&Sd it today. I've got a load of washing out on the line and I've spent an hour in the garden pruning bushes. Lots of sweeping up done now.

    Hope everyone's OK.

    Tesco run done..

Just got to put it all away.

DD1 deposited at college, children all at school, cats.. all asleep on MY new bedding!

DD2's birthday present bought.. and DS2's school jumoers.. last 2 in his size in Tesco :D.

Best go get the kettle on and put away some shopping and get some food sorted for later.. I have a nail appt at 1:30 so need it mostly done by then!

I want to take DD1 to have her ears pierced when she leaves college so I best check the bank balance and ring the shop to see if they still do it or else it will be a Thursday job for us.

I'll join the next HHC, if you please tell me what an "ice pole" is :p

Well you normally buy them in liquid form then freeze them. Little tubes of juice , cola , strawberry etc. They charge £1 for them at the caravan site I can but 100 here for that price. Just looked at a box in the freezer they say freezepops on them if that makes more sense:D

    Going for an HHC 11.45.

Thanks cyclingyorkie, Penpen and kezlou. We were told that the rota on the big yard is to be scrapped so that the same person was out first all the time so the teachers know who is supposed to be out there. I have been on the little yard for the last few months so their rota/nion rota does not include me any more. I was asked to go onto the little yard a while back by another member of staff and have my suspicions that the deputy is not aware of that.

    .
So whatever went wrong was nothing to do with you anyway

All good wishes for getting it sorted.
Remember we are all standing behind you.
