I was just about to say reward yourself with some chocolate, you deserve it but....definitely indulge in more kissing! Far better for the waistline, the purse and the general feeling of well being and happiness!:rotfl:

Hi Moozie and Everyone.
Purely FYI, there's a great little thread over on the Health Board called Depression and the posters give free hugs and advice. Many people get depressed or feel low due to being in debt and whereas learning how to clear your debts is helped wonderfully on here, some people might feel the need for a bit more emotional support which is so hard to find when you're in debt and can't see a way out. Just a thought...

Parents are coming this weekend and bringing me loads of stuff for the flat and hopefully a nice massive box of veg.

I have only had 6 cigarettes since sunday morning. I think im going to get one of those nicorette inhalators, as Im not physically craving, just emotionally habitually craving.Im telling myself even if I dont give up, then Ive saved myself 20 this week ( not that i had it but there you are) and thats a good thing. babysteps. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Oh Lynz, I'm having one of those sorts of days too. I started a job on Saturday but tonight is my first proper shift and I don't want to do it. I finish at 8.30 (and 9 on a Friday) and I will either have to walk a mile home in the dark or get a taxi and hope that I do finish on time and hope that it doesn't cost too much. It'll work out ok I suppose.
And well done on only have 6 cigarettes. My mum used the inhalator thingy and it really worked for her. She's been given up for 7 years now - she was a very heavy smoker before.0 -
Im going to phone the quitline that I got the no from my gp the other day :A and see if i can get an inhaltor on the cheap
What job have you got Mrs M:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Good luck with the stopping smoking Lynz. Hope today gets better too. I'm trying to feel happy and positive but I have bl**dy awful toothache and feel sorry for myself. I hate feeling like this. I'm going to take the children to school and take the dog for a very long walk.
Catch you all later and hugs to anyone who needs them. xxJanuary budget

I think you need to take a look at your own sig. God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can,and the wisdom to know the difference.lynzpower wrote:I just cant stop listing in my head all the things that are wrong such as

You can't do anything about being ill. I don't doubt that you've done stuff to try to diagnose yourself, chivvy your doctors along, and ameliorate the symptoms - so this is where your serenity kicks in. You've been better before, you will get better again.lynzpower wrote:3.flat is an utter s***hole - everything is covered in paint, sticky, disgusting glossy mess
What can you do about that? Now start doing it. Being on here is not doing it...lynzpower wrote:4. Im fat, there really is no pretneding otherwise

These are all kind of related aren't they? From what you've said in other threads, you're comfort eating. Comfort eating does make you fat. If you don't buy the comfort food, you can't eat it.
If you get out and walk around your neighbourhood (assuming it's a safe one):- It's free
- It's exercise
- You can't comfort eat
- The fresh air and light will make you feel better
lynzpower wrote:7. as of the 20th October Im going to get 0 income.
That's not neccesarily true. You can make some money from things like surveys, AQA, mystery shopping and the like. Also entering competitions and selling the prizes.lynzpower wrote:8.oh is djing tonight and im going to look like his troggy bird again, GAH why cant i be sexy & glam like I used to be???
Is this not part of 4,5,6 ?lynzpower wrote:9. all the painting that Ive done is rubbish- or maybe im being too critical
What's wrong with it, and what can you do about fixing it?lynzpower wrote:I got turned down for a CC for my moving fees, and god knows why, i never have before and im worrying about that.
This may be a start of a credit contraction. Ask older people about the seventies where you had to dress up in Sunday's best to beg the bank manager for a loan.lynzpower wrote:PLus points of life

But he can. So accept it - this is where you serenity comes in again.lynzpower wrote:I have only had 6 cigarettes since sunday morning. ZTD, you are the wisest person on MSE i swear it.
I dunno, I think im OK today, being a bit sarky with myself I think, im not crying today ( yet!) which is a start.
I asked about the painting on the in my home section, must see if theres any answers.gloss on doors gone drippy & wavy. I dont think it helped when i rang my dad to ask his advice and he just went oh youve obviously put too much paint on youll never salvage it  cheers pop, youve made me feel a real sucess!! :rotfl:
I dont tihnk it helps that I have a bit of a clean hands thing- its not an obsession but I do like it when my hands arnt covered in sticky gloss. Even OH who is pretty laid back on the hygiene front went GOD everythings sticky in here, I hate it.
So IM going round the corner to buy more cleaning stuff in a bit and will get on with it. But really i think im sick of cleaning. I did 4 hours of cleaning yesterday and feel like im going backwards. And im thoroughly exhausted from it all. mum says, well thats decorating for you you just have to accept it. I did remind her that she siad that she couldnt take any more last week ( they are having work done at thier place too!) wonder where I get it from. I love order, and this is disorder. I just feel like Mrs bloody mop.
just stubbed my 1st fag of the day out after 1 drag. this is good.
last penguin eaten yesterday. Point taken:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
