Group therapy!

Does anyone else feel the need of a hug and a moan because I do!

Nothing majorly wrong but it's Monday and I got the blues. Also all my payments and overpayments have gone out and until September's payday, I have no more to give! :( In fact I have £25 minus this morning's spending until payday (15/9) and then it's overdraft here I come.

Oh and I just dropped half my lunch on the kitchen floor (at work) as I took it out of the microwave.

Last but not least, my colleague just brought me a mahoosive custard doughnut even though I am trying to lose some weight. Arghhhhh  But it tasted good and comforting

That's it I think but can't promise! :p Feel free to share your moans and expecially your hugs!!!

  • Don't actually need a hug myself (probably do when I think about stuff) but I'm sending one to you moozie (((Hug)))

    Sorry your'e feeling down Moozie.
Don't feel bad about the doughnut, think of it as compensation for the half of your lunch that went on the floor;) .
I get paid on the 15th too and can't wait to get paying bills again then. It will soon be here.

I'm feeling a bit glum too. No real reason except my debt wont' be paid off soon enough. And we want to move and cant' until its gone. But we need to save up lots before we can move (got a secured loan as well as those in my signature that we really need to pay off before we can move) so its going to be a long haul.

Could be worse though, at least we're making tracks in to our debt for the first time ever :D

    Roll on Friday.

Aww...I know how you feel, between paydays can really drag...

How about you join or start an ebay / quidco / make money some other way challenge? Then make a couple of small payments out of that mid month?

    Hi moozie,

Hugs to you! And don't worry about that doughnut, just take yourself out for a nice walk, the fresh air will make you feel better, the time out will let you clear your head moneywise and it will burn off some cals!

I'm feeling down today too, the first flurry of debt payment after pay day has gone, I'm already off track budget wise and there are 3 weeks until pay day!

  • ((((((((hugs))))))) i'm having a really bad Monday, mums gone to hospital for an op & she's convinced herself shes going to die, so a very upsetting morning. Then postie came with a letter saying a creditor is going to take us to court for £300:eek: .

The kids are being monsters & I have no comfort food in the house. Seriously thinking about spending a few pennies on a cake or some choccie.

I hope your day gets better.

Awww, ((((hugs)))) to everyone who needs them!

Moozie, hun, that middle of the month thing is a right pain hey - so many on here complain of it. I don't have any new suggestions really except that ss has been keeping himself busy with matched betting. Trouble is that takes a bit of spare cash and some time to get your head around it

The ebay/quidco/amazon suggestion is good but, having been on here a while, have you sold every worldy possession already?! :rotfl:

Have you seen freebird's christmas challenge? Its a good way to hopefully make a little money and have some fun along the way :)

I'm off to the gym now to cheer myself up a bit... chat later :)
