Hi Moozie, hope you feel a bit chirpier (a made-up word?!) soon!
I, too am having a rubbish day. Started a new job three weeks ago and have been training up until today when I was well and truly thrown in at the deep end. Probably made hundreds of mistakes and felt like I was way out of my depth. All the trainer kept saying was "It's not that bad", I had to just grit my teeth and get on with it, all thats keeping me going is the sum of money they pay into my bank every month...which promptly goes back out again...oh well..such is life..
Think I will go and have a Twix now...I too, am on a diet (in the loosest sense of the word)..oh well..0 -
Will now stuff face with bag of chilli heatwave doritos, no nutrional value whatsoever!
Had poop day at work, other member of staff didnt turn up so was on my own all day, ate my pasta at till point, hope noone minded!
Still 24 days until payday, bank balance looking scary already.
Ebay stock not going well, wish I cud post link to it on MSE, would give discount to MSE'ers. I have wonderful stocking pressies
And other ebay auction item has 5 watches, 50 mins to go and no bids!So its probably going to sell for peanuts, and thats just so unfair!
and just generally feel like poop-sh*te!
Next bag now...........Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

Sorry your'e feeling down Moozie.
Don't feel bad about the doughnut, think of it as compensation for the half of your lunch that went on the floor;) .
I get paid on the 15th too and can't wait to get paying bills again then. It will soon be here.

I LOVE the idea of compensation! In fact, I got a bargain really as the doughnut was a zillion calories while my lentil curry just a few
Thanks for making me smile!:jLeason learnt :beer:0 -

Have you seen freebird's christmas challenge? Its a good way to hopefully make a little money and have some fun along the way
I'm off to the gym now to cheer myself up a bit... chat later
You made me smile KathI've sold pretty much everything I personally own and don't need! I tried selling some used clothes on ebay and they didn't sell, maybe I'll re-list them and see how that goes....
I joked with the OH that maybe it's time to start renting him out for odd jobs and he reminded me I already do that  Most of my friends have had him over for electrical/painting/odd jobs. Next time, I am going to charge :rotfl:
Hope the gym was fun hun xxLeason learnt :beer:0 -

Only tip I can give about the clothes is to make the photos as good as you can!! The amount of times I see tiny photos of items looking like they've just been flung on a bed, no lighting or anythingSometimes a nice-looking coathanger on the back of a door is a good way to go, or lay something nicely on a bed and stand on a chair to photograph it from above to stop it being so distorted. Pick the place in your house with the best natural lighting so that the colour looks accurate and buyers don't get annoyed.
Sorry moozie... don't mean to suggest your photos are bad at all!! Must be the photographer in me.... these things get to me:rotfl:
The gym was lovely thank you. Actually only went swimming today but it was the 9th time in 13 days so I'm starting to feel it now :eek:Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. I hope the ebay auctions surprise you and end up a lot better than you think, fingers crossed.
I've just munched through two packets of crisps, a fruit and nut bar (not the little ones) and a packet of maltesers. Feel slightly sick and not all that betterHope your crisps helped to brighten up the evening!
Roll on tomorrow for everyone, it seems there are a few of us in need of a Tuesday xxLeason learnt :beer:0 -
Hugs to everyone having a crappy monday....hope you are all feeling better by now........I will when my bro decides to act like a half decent human being...but sadly I don't think that will be in my lifetime......nor in his if I've got anything to do with it!!;)
Thankfully (or not actually.........) my worries are not money related...I wish they were......easier to deal with facts and figures (however crap) than people and what they think or believe has happened!!0 -

Thank you very much! I will re-take some of the photos and use the angle you suggested. Hopefully they will look more appealing.

No problem, I hope it works for you!! Personally I find photos are the main thing I look at on clothes listing so the more appealing they are the bettermoozie wrote:9 times swimming in 13 days??? For the love of God, you are human not fish!!! :rotfl:
