Oooh dear, well I will phone them tommorrow, and see what they say, I'm sure they said that I needed to keep the receipt when I bought it, plus I bought it for cash. It's under warranty! Of course they have to fix it or replace it if the mobo has gone within the warranty poeriod. You can take it back to any branch of the same shop. You don't need the receipt (though it would certainly have helped), you simply need proof of purchase (credit card bill, bank statement?)
I am sure I have the receipt somewhere in all the boxes that I still ahvent unpacked! :eek:0 -
Well obviously if you paid cash then the receipt will be your only proof of purchase...No free lunch, and no free laptop
