            Thank you Davidmt83

My boot time was 2min 23 sec after loading Soluto and dealing with all the no brainers and one or two of the advanced items it reduced to 1min 10 sec which is fantastic.

I am sure it would be a lot lower but I have always had a problem with my computer “hanging” before it even starts to load the start up applications.

 Thanks again
 David

Wooo HOooo!!! Finally got my boot down to 1:01 after removing a lot of crap pre-installed from Acer that I never use. Took a bit of googling but hopefully soluto will learn more soon so it will be easier for other people. Interesting... I always find it easier to delete the junk from the Startup folder and these two registry keys:
 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
But Soluto looks great for anyone who doesn't feel comfortable editing the registry and searching the web for technical explanations.
There's a bit more information about it in this Lifehacker review. It looks like it solves more than just startup issues too...0
